The DAP is faster, more maneuverable, carries the same weapons plus more, hold twice the ammunition, can be used for close air support, and still can hold 6 operators and in flight refuel. Also the pilots of the 160th flying these DAPs are higher qualified then your regular Apache pilot.

Do you know what is it targeting cause I got a little confused from the flash effects. I saw some ruins and explosions with a heavy minigun fire. Although the Black Hawk cannot beat most of the dedicated gunships in performance, it did pretty well with the fire support.
Dude, the Black Hawk is THE most stable and flexible helicopter in our inventory. It can definitely beat ANY of the dedicated gunships in overall performance and fire support. I know what this beast can do and when flown by the 160th there is no comparison. Hands down, the BEST helicopter unit, pilots, crewchiefs and support, in the world. No one comes close. Huge respect for the Nightstalkers! This coming from a former crewchief stationed @ Fort Bragg, NC.
I never said anything about the skills of the pilots or the helicopter's abilities. However, If we talk about fire support the Apache, Kamov, Tiger and many other gunships are far better than the helicopter when it comes to doing some damage. Plus that each nation has its elite pilots for such machines so saying that the pilots are one of the best is far more acceptable than claiming they are the best. Nobody can be the best. I also pay mu respect for these guys.
the UH-1N or the new Y version is the same as the black hawk if not better. although i agree that the black hawk is a bad ass helo but i just wanted to point out that the huey is also very flexible and can also be a bad ass gun ship.
It's from the 160th, a special operations aviation regiment in the us army. They are known as the Nightstalkers and without a doubt, they are the best helicopter unit on the planet. While stationed @ Fort Bragg, I flew with several different pilots, I was a Black Hawk crewchief. There are 6 that I flew with that I would put up against anybody, anywhere. Five out of those six are all 160th. The other became a test pilot @ PAX River.

Wow... people go on and on bout this. YES IT IS A BLACKHAWK. All Blackhawks are MH-60s. Its not an Apache cause an Apache is a AH-64.

Do you know what is it targeting cause I got a little confused from the flash effects. I saw some ruins and explosions with a heavy minigun fire. Although the Black Hawk cannot beat most of the dedicated gunships in performance, it did pretty well with the fire support.

Dude, the Black Hawk is THE most stable and flexible helicopter in our inventory. It can definitely beat ANY of the dedicated gunships in overall performance and fire support. I know what this beast can do and when flown by the 160th there is no comparison. Hands down, the BEST helicopter unit, pilots, crewchiefs and support, in the world. No one comes close. Huge respect for the Nightstalkers! This coming from a former crewchief stationed @ Fort Bragg, NC.

I never said anything about the skills of the pilots or the helicopter's abilities. However, If we talk about fire support the Apache, Kamov, Tiger and many other gunships are far better than the helicopter when it comes to doing some damage. Plus that each nation has its elite pilots for such machines so saying that the pilots are one of the best is far more acceptable than claiming they are the best. Nobody can be the best. I also pay mu respect for these guys.

the UH-1N or the new Y version is the same as the black hawk if not better. although i agree that the black hawk is a bad ass helo but i just wanted to point out that the huey is also very flexible and can also be a bad ass gun ship.

It's from the 160th, a special operations aviation regiment in the us army. They are known as the Nightstalkers and without a doubt, they are the best helicopter unit on the planet. While stationed @ Fort Bragg, I flew with several different pilots, I was a Black Hawk crewchief. There are 6 that I flew with that I would put up against anybody, anywhere. Five out of those six are all 160th. The other became a test pilot @ PAX River.

The shape doesn't look like it at all, it's clearly a Blackhawk.
The Apache also doesn't carry the kind of miniguns clearly seen and heard firing in the video.

Its a blackhawk. Look at the tail rotor and tail fuselage. Apaches are much more narrow and tail rotor is higher. Blackhawk without a doubt.

@Dynaudio99 This is not an apache...not even close, first of all apaches don't have miniguns, secondly that looks absolutely nothing like an apache, and third apache's don't have side mount miniguns seen in the video..all they have is a single chain gun located under the front of the helo just below the gunner seat.

Great video. The MH-60L is such a amazing weapon. Pound for pound I would say it could pack more of a punch then a ah-64 apache. It just carries so much heat and amarment. It's like a mini hind. But hey I'm probably wrong and I'll probably have a million 15 year olds telling me I'm an idiot and they are smarter tahn me. But nonetheless DAP 106th!
