How about the thousand of Palestinian women and children killed from 2000 to 2010? What about the hundreds of Palestinians left homeless in Gaza and the West Bank from illegal settling and the eviction of Palestinians in hundred year old homes and the uprooting of family owned olive groves? What about adults and children being held and tortured in Israeli prisons? What of the killing of hundreds of Palestinians and Orthodox Jews during the invasions in 1948?
@Jugglesama This is a classic "chicken and egg" case, what about the 23000 Israeli citizens killed since 1948 in this conflict?. try to find the historical reference as to who started this conflict and why?

Its a war, and sadly, people get hurt in wars. Israel is acting out of self defence, while arabs are acting out of religion derived hatred - its not about land, there is enough land for everyone.
These people are citizens performing civilized, peaceful protest against the occupation of their homeland. There was no violence taking place here until they were wrongfully attacked by police/military weapons. How dare someone throw a rock at an armored truck spraying pressurized water at them, and how dare someone yell at a group of people scattering a peaceful protest with possibly expired teargas.
@Jugglesama Tear gas and water cannons are a non-lethal way of dispersing illegal, violent demonstrations. why was this water cannon invented in the first place?
If you look at the surroundings ob these villages, they are sitting on hundreds of acres of uncultivated land. This is not about land. The U.N separation plan of 1948 offered 80% of land to the arab tribes - and they started a war that was aimed to kill jewish immigrants. The fact that they lost 3 wars they started - is their problem.
The protests being held in Bil'in are not illegal nor are the violent. Under the UN, these organized protests are completely legal. In general, I don't think Palestinians would be getting violent if they weren't treated horribly by Israeli authority and had 40 ton bombs dropped on their citizens --and imprisoned within the war tarnished ghetto that is the majority of their country duel to Israeli attacks and illegal Israeli bulldozing and settling.
@Jugglesama I would love it if somebody can PLEASE find me a credible historical reference to "Palestinians" or "Palestine", its a sad fact that the term was invented by the media in recent years, while there was never such a thing.

One of my favorite writers, Aleister Crowley, even mentions Palestine in one of his Libri. His Libri was written prior to 1948

These communities are not illegal, there is such thing as a "Palestinian". Arabians knew this area as Southern Syria, never saw it as "Palestinian". Up until the sixties, the Jews were called "Palestinians" and there were "Arab Palestinians". There were no "Palestinians" until after Arafart got his fame with the PLO. Learn some history.
