If there was a plate of glass supporting him, would not the glass break under his body weight? Also, would not the people in the swimming pool have detected the glass bridge? If all of the people in the swimming pool were actors pretending to be excited and amazed then maybe there is something else we are not detecting. But, can such a long piece of glass support his weight without breaking, unless it is plexiglass and the people are in on this trick with him.
