  • Things like this makes me sad to remember that I still do not speak my language. Look at! This man is speaking so beautifully the language of my ancestors, and here I am typing in the tongue of the evildoers who enslaved us. I cannot even laugh at his jokes, or reflect on whatever wisdom is in his speech.
