It's Not the Unit, It's the drivers for windows, VST, ASIO is old technology. Macs use much better technology. Core Audio is built into MAC OS X and Audio Units (AU) plugins is apple's technology so it is sure to work and work well.
@YegorIvanov you mean Macs have the right Software, We don't need to use ASIO drivers as Macs use Core Audio. PC people think in hardware we Mac users think in Software.

hey guys, i bought a tc electronic konnekt 6 a week ago, i was trying to make it work during a week!!! having drop outs, noises.... did some research and finally got the solution, i bought a expresscard firewire for my laptop, cos the firewire that my laptop has inside is a crap, so i bought a firewire expresscard and finally make my device work perfectly.... THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THAT THE FIREWIRE EXPRESSCARD YOU BUY HAS TEXAS INSTRUMENTS CHIPSET ON IT!!!!

Thank got for Mac, got the interface today,took me like 6-7 min to set it up,produced 2 beats with it already .

But to avoid some problems i advice you to put konnekt 6 into TI-based FW controller.

I had the exact same problem with mine. An additional Firewire Expresscard with a Texas Instruments chipset was needed to fix it. Irritating....
