No doubt the greatest game I have ever played in my entire life. Nothing save another Kotor game made by Bioware will ever top it. It has this...magical feeling. Bioware created an emotional, immersive part of the Star Wars timeline and it's considered by many to be better than the movies timeline...myself included. Truely a work of gaming art. I cannot describe it at all. So amazing.

@BGSXboxx you could also go on Ebay and look up "XP gaming Computer". Find a seller named lagunshy_comp_serve or something like that. The product will be called " silver x cruiser 2 240 regor 2.8 GB gaming computer", asuming you bought the silver one. They sell for around $420.00. There is a catch, though: you must add the line "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects" (without quotes) into the configuration settings under [GRAPHICS OPTIONS]. And there you go! KotOR in max settings with little/no lag!!

@0oDarkLordRevano0 PC, if you know how to use Google to make it work on 7 or vista; which isn't hard at all. If not, then get Xbox, although you might get some frame rate drops every now and then.

@alldaygamer Yes, I already know about that. adding the line Disable Vertex Buffer Objects to the config settings under graphics options, run in compatibility mode for XP sp2, the whole ms32.dll thing, disabling visual themes, display scaling on high dpi settings, and desktop composition under the compatiblity tab. And alot of the time for seven and vista, the Bink movies either won't play, or will play in a little tiny section of the screen.

Also not diggin the MMO KOTOR seems too unlike previous kotors. Also im not a fan of mmos in general. Time will tell..

I liked the story of kotor and the characters but kotor 2 had better powers and obviously the level cap being much higher. Still kotor was the best. They should make a 3rd one with combined efforts btw I am saying an actual 3rd one and not TOR.

It's a real shame The Old Republic is an MMO and not an RPG.. in my opinion at least. I enjoyed KOTOR more than anything else electronics-related I've ever gotten my hands on. I pray that Bio Ware will some day pick this series back up.. making a third KOTOR RPG. The second one tbh left me wanting a bit more. Probably because Obsidian made it rather than BioWare.

Actualy i take back saying that the second one is better. the first really is. It just somehow has a greater, funner feeling to it. Whenever i played the first one i always had this warm feeling inside me that was just comforting... but the second one didn't do that... the only reason i said that the second one is better is because it had more force powers and you could go past level 20. But in reality Kotor II was actually much shorter than kotor I. Also, korriban and Dantooine were too short..

They should make more of these. I played #2, then #1, and #2 definitely leaves it open for a 3 and maybe even a 4. the story lines are so great in these that they could definitely make 4 of them.

i definitely recommend it, it is very interesting and u wont be disappointed. #2's ending is kind of dropped and may make u dislike the game, but when u consider there is most likely going to be a #3 it's fine.

yes i have heard of this mmorpg but that doesn't mean that they wont make a #3. the games (#1 and #2) will probably do better than the mmorpg. personally i don't think a mmorpg would be as fun as KotoR and tSL, because when i played these games i was like in my own world. a mmorpg doesn't have that feeling. like WoW has a good storyline but because it's a mmorpg it doesn't have the same in-your-own-world-all-you-and-­your-decisions feeling. so i think that there will be a #3.

after u leave the jedi academy u should go 2 Kashyyk first. it's easier and gets u to the skill level that will really help u on Tatooine.

I bought the Star Wars best of PC set for the pc. It comes with 5 different Star Wars games, including this one, for I think $40 or maybe $50. If you want it on a system try game stop or a place called vintage stock if you have one.
