They need to have a return of The Flood and add something more powerful than them. A threat to everyone and everything. Also, possibly the addition of a Firefight game mode where instead of battling the Covenant, you only battle The Flood. For the weapons, they should definitely bring back the SMG, the Battle Rifle, and the DMR.

@nickowns55 halo reach is like halo 1 and 2 in many ways. rockets and nades=halo 1. weapon hit scan=halo2. with the title update its even more like halo 1 and 2. bungie messed up with bloom but 343 fixed it. i have a love/hate thing for armor abilities. armor lock and camo should be pick ups , but the rest are ok. 343 needs to make a halo that is balanced and based around competitive play.

Finaly some answers for us the modding comunity (pc comunity ) of halo even though they were inconclusive. As for the new armor well now that I have seen it well I sure as hell don't want to see this in halo 4 for 2 reasons. 1. it doesn't look remotly near like mark 6 2. It's not so badass. Still in my opinion the original mark 6 was way better

DMR>BR. Thanks to it's 3-round burst the BR was a random, inconsistent spamfire weapon. OTOH, the DMR is semi-auto and when you pace your shots it's dead-on accurate and thus more consistent. As Bungie's Sage Merrill said, "We’ve turned the skill requirements up in a lot of ways and the DMR is going to require a bit more precision (and less luck on account of a burst-fire spread) than the BR did." People who hate the DMR (and bloom) lack proper firing discipline. PROTIP: Don't spam the trigger!

If I were to guess when they will release gameplay trailers I would guess maybe next May or June and if so there would just be little tid-bits of campaign gameplay or another teaser, but probably within a few months of the release they will show multiplayer footage and stuff like that.
