  • i don't get it.

girls that like manly stuff get praise by almost every men

a man loves MLP:FIM and get insulted and mistreated by all even by girls?? why?? it make no sense.

so yeah i aprove of this video... is MLP a thing??

  • Its a show like the 90s ones, something you don't see on the crap TV of nowadays.

  • @Bubbleheart3 You are correct.

  • Soap. Come back for six minutes and censor the FUCK out of this video. And all anti bronies

  • Why does everyone think we're adult men? Almost all of us are 21-12 :| where you all get this shit from.

  • @warlerker the average male viewers are around 21-30 years

  • Hey, not all of us are grown men! I'm a teenage girl and a PROUD brony!

  • @Bubbleheart3 umm, sorry. But brony is for male.

    you could be a Pegasister!

(damn, that sounds WAY lot better)

    mmm...

    high-hoof?

  • @awesomeaminwolf97 I'll give you a brohoof, but brony is actually a unisex term.

  • I am a Man who just turned 22 Last Month.

I have a Full Day Job, Where i get well paid.

I have wonderful Friends, some of them i know for Years and we spend time watching Movies, going out for a Drink, etc.

When i don't do these stuff i like to Watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic or watch Fanvids on Youtube or go to Equestriadaily.

I am a Brony and i am proud of it *Brohoof*.

P.S Twilight Sparkle is best Pony ;)

  • I must say, She put Bronies well into prespective. Good on you lady Brohoof./]

  • Amazing show.

  • The last lady ruined it.

  • bronies doesnt come from "bro" and "ponies" you stupid bitch.

It comes from /b/ and ponies.

Even a girl can be a brony

  • @2BCBattlefield No, it is bro and ponies, bronies on /b/ are called /b/ronies. Girls who like the series are Pegasisters.

  • @2BCBattlefield if it was /b/ ponies it would be bonies

  • She says: "arent children wise in their simplicity?" LOL

  • Love and Tolerance everyone/everypony. Isn't that the main focus of this community?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm 16 + a brony, I don't deny it. I think the reason why I like it is because alot of people who worked on shows I loved as a kid are working on Friendship is Magick. It has Tara Strong; who worked on countless characters from my childhood. It even has Lauren Faust who has worked on Fosters Home and made my childhood so kick ass. I like it because I makes me feel like a kid again, it helps me forget that I need a job and I need to do all my school work (not saying I should forget those things)

  • @blackerthanebony100 you hit the nail on the head there for me.

  • It's the community that pisses me off. They make it seem like FAKE character off of a childrens cartoon are gods. The memes get annoying, too.

  • lol shouldn't you people be more concerned about little kids invading BF3, MW3, etc.??? I mean, aren't you tired of them mic spamming with their annoying voices?(Not all)

  • stop asking u idiot

  • @ThePencil901 No those a the clopers

  • @shyv9 Yea I'm 14 and mlp is awesome

  • @xkennyPLx Me to dude me 2

  • Bronies are wierdos and i believe they watch the show for some sort of sick sexual pleasure. i present you you, exhibit A (WARNING, NSFW):

    watch?v=MwKclhWlo-0&feature=youtu.be

  • @xXBurntBaconXx HAHAHA that is the stupidest thing ever u moron, that may be some of the community but alot are the complete opposite

  • @xXBurntBaconXx Not all bronies are like that you idiot. Your pissing me off with your assumptions that all bronies are like that. Bronies are just fans of the shows, that's it! You can have your hardcore, softcore, cloppers and all the other types of bronies but the most basic are just, again, fans of the show, nothing else.

  • @xXBurntBaconXx

    >taking examples off of 4chan, the Shithole of the internet

    >examples applies to every person who likes MLP

    Nigga you are retarded.

  • That woman let those kids play Red Dead Redemption... She's amazing...

  • She called MLP a meme....

Why does everyone think MLP owes it's existence to fickle memedom?

MLP is more than a meme it is a show,

more than a show it is a community,

more than a community it is a group of talented, caring, and truly awesome people.

People whom I call fellow bronies and friends.

To call My Little Pony a meme is to oversimplify everything the show is and everything we bronies stand for.

  • @tdlob1 but it made alot of memes so u can kind of see where it is coming from

  • THEY JUST LIKE IT BECAUSE SOME ONE MADE A PORN OF IT

  • people! its not all adults. many bronies are teens.

  • Defining something as a "boy" thing or a "girl" thing is just silly anyways.

  • @TheFingerbuns Like Mcdonald's toys. I always got the "boys" toys just to defy the rules.

  • She forgot one thing...CUPCAKES!!!!!!!

  • I liked it until the last lady showed up....she seems like someone who should have been the last person to want to ask that.

  • @wertman432 Ending was priceless.

  • bronies: bros who like ponies

    wat

  • brohoof

  • Manhood, revoked

  • @generalshrooms you know you love it, you just haven't realized it yet

  • Pony Thread Simulator

    No explanation needed.

  • One of the most balanced examinations of the cultures surrounding the show I've seen. To whit: The show works on one level for little girls, and another level for adults. You're free to not like it, but for those who do, they see something special in it. Something honest and pure that counters the cynicism and hatred the media spews every day.

  • @RimjobTheGreat People like you can't and won't shame fans of this show into a corner because you think what you like or how you live is superior. I'm 32, have a steady job as editor of a newspaper, and a loving family who wishes me the best. I live on my own and take care of all my responsibilites. And I LOVE this show. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

  • @Nightweaver1 *brohoof*

  • in the words of Ed Edd and Eddy:

YOU NEED HELP! YOU ALL NEED HELP!

  • @fucktardickis who... those who watch it or they who don't?

  • MEDIC!

  • @RimjobTheGreat Manchild? Almost certainly. Ashamed? HELL NO.

  • I found my way into this fandom with the increasing amount of fanart that was flowing into my inboxes and watch lists from all the websites I belong to

I originally deleted everything pony-related with a roll of the eye, but then I saw some really inspirational, traditional pony fanart that peaked my interest

That, and all the amazing fan music sealed the deal

I saw the first episode, and from the very first opening sequence, I fell in love with all of it

    Best thing I ever did

    BONY FOR LIFE :D

  • I had depression and my old friend showed me MLT- depression gone and happines came to my life.

  • @hakeador4000 LET ME YELL WITH YOU! 8D

  • @AnarchisThinker OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @UltimaM2 OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • my pony video has more views than this one

  • i hat the toys

  • Growing number of men? Ya mean we havn't taken over yet? I'm dissapointed fellow bronies...

  • Brony and proud!

  • .... Bronies can be girls too, like me. :/

  • @xxkili from what I have heard they are called something differnt. idk what it is though -.-

  • @thatonespacebase Pegasisters

  • @thatonespacebase We can be called "pegasisters", but we can also be called bronies. Bronies isnt a gender-defined term.

  • I'm 14 and I'm proud to say,NO. IM PROUD TO YELL IM A BRONY!

  • Wanna teach you how to skin your horse? ;D

    lol XD

  • first, feel free to check out my channel if you like my little pony, I have all the episodes and more, 40+ vids and counting. now, why am I a brony? I think if people just look at some of the things this show teaches their lives could greatly improve. everyone should help each other out and stop with all the hate, power lust, and all of that. I know it's probably only a dream, but with mlp, it's kinda like an escape for me. I do my part, and only hope others follow my lead.

  • It's not all grown men. Im 17 and I love the show. I know a lot of guys and girls my age that love the show

  • SKIN THE SHITTY HORSE!! cuz it's not a pony :3

  • I dont understand whats the science in this.. (sleeps until S2E8)

  • HAHAH the red dead at the end was priceless...

  • >Bronies vs. MLP Haters

    >Everyone of both sides implying they aren't all massive faggots for arguing over a little girl's cartoon.

  • Failed at omnipotence. WTF?

  • Watched 14 Episodes, is not a Brony = Doesnt feel the Magic of Friendship >.>

  • woman:what do you think about the gender polictic alskfjlasjfas;fkas

    girl:wat

  • I might just add one simple thing. One huge reason for me liking it is because of one woman who is behind it and was behind other shows that I have liked. Lauren Faust. She worked on the Power Puff Girls which I grew up with, and she made Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends which was one of my favorite shows during my tween and teen years. I have always liked cute things, but not all of them. Cute isn't a reason for a show, but it helps. The woman behind it is what keeps me watching.

  • @321cheeseman

    @windowguylol

    Its a show about ponies.

Lets start loving and tolerating again,ok?

  • The show may have been made for kids but it was made in a way that the whole family can enjoy. It's not annoying like the first 3 generations were. The characters are well developed and very likeable. The storylines and plot are great and easy to get into. Not to mention, it's so cute :3

I'm a brony and proud of it.

  • @xkennyPLx Agreed. If you think about it, it's one of the last decent shows on television these days.

  • @xkennyPLx *brohoof*

  • MLP may not be a manly show, but it takes a man to admit you like it.

  • this isnt real everyone knows little girls dont wach MLP i mean come on :P

  • 3:11 adult moon speak

  • To answer your questions....

    Medic: I HAVE NO IDEA!!

  • @MultiMrsmiley How the hell did a Team Fortress 2 reference get the highest rated comment?

  • @Nap712 not gunna sayit.... nope........ Fuckit

    I HAVE NO IDEA!!

  • It's only the most external characteristics of MLP that are meant to appeal to young girls. The core of the show has almost universal appeal; there will be some who don't like it, as with anything, but bronies simply get the most attention. Lots of other kinds of people like the show too. Compare it to Tolkien; sure, LotR appears on the surface to be targeted at adult men, but any type of person can enjoy it.

  • i'm 21 and the most manly thing i ever watched was my little pony :3

  • My little pony applies to everyone

Children, adults, male , female, straight, bisexual, homosexual, american, europeon, asain ect

For example I am a 15 year old bisexual english girl and I am in LOVE with my little pony...

  • @ilovebfslucy

    Call me ;)

    (a horny bronie lol)

  • My Little Pony has gotten to our military men as well. How do I know this? I'm in the Army and I love MLP lol, Bronis for life

  • @Ziault EXCELENT now we can use you to defeat teh terrorists...with FRIENDSHIP MWAHAHA

  • @Smoothieman7 Can't do it without my favorite pony Rainbow Dash. She's blue the color of the infantry and she's perfect for hit and run attacks. ;)

  • @Ziault /)^3^(\ So AWESOME

  • Always forgetting teens, i knew it, adults give a f*cking f*ck-f*ck about us underage.

btw bronies aren't on 4chan, they/we invade and molest 4chan.

well, when I'm on 4chan i never talk about mlp:fim. BRONIES, YOU... or we... NEED LIMITS. YOU... not we... ARE LIKE FURRIES 2.0

  • Dude, that mom plays red dead redemption with her kids. Thats intense!

  • well i like mlp and im 12...

  • @IanNewYasha your not a thing your a person! LONG LIVE BRONIES!!!

  • i really dont undertand this at all, so just because guys watch a show that may not be intended for them its a bad thing, for one thing surely its a credit to lauren faust that she can create a show that draws in outside its target audience and for another really does it matter who watches the show, why does everyone make such a big deal yes im a guy, in fact today was my 18th birthday and i love this show and would consider myself a brony because im part of the wider community, who has a proble

  • i like people who makes shows about obvious fucking things that people already knew about 2 years ago and pretend they have any fucking knowledge of whats going on other than their boyfriend taking revenue from videos on youtube while they read of a piece of paper and edit the parts out where they say HURHUHRUDHUHDRUHDHURDUHRDUHDHDRHDRHUDHRDHURHDUHRDUHRHDURUHDHRHDURUH

  • this show is so pure...where did Pinkie Pie becoming a masive murder or Luna game came from?

  • @MrE380 Wat? Your asking where the Luna Games came from. Some guy just decided to make some games is all.

  • @TheBeatlesPkmnFaan42 I am not haiting on the game but is MLP becomeing more of a kid show or a horror one?

  • @MrE380 How can a show be called horror just because some fans make some gory art/games/fanfiction? That's like saying if someone wrote a horror fanfiction for Sesame Street, that'd make that horror as well. And the Luna Games aren't really 'horror' just screamers for the most part.

  • @TheBeatlesPkmnFaan42 yah i guess you are right for the most part my bad

  • as soon as se said 4chan I screamed "Don't-! NO!!!!!"

  • @AnAngryWolpack it would be better if you did it like this : Brohoof /)(\

  • I SAW HOMESTUCK.

  • People can watch whatever they want, they have the right and the freedom to. Saying someone can't do something because it's not something that you like is unamerican and ignorant.

  • @Nomis095 unless its ponies, you have to watch it

  • I disagree with the brony they brought on...

i love the show, but the fandom scares me sometimes...

  • @aboo612 lol, i dont think he was thinking about the cloppers when he thought about this xD

  • only furries like my little pony.

  • @bulletproofshooter2 I wouldn't fuck a horse but I'd make jokes about it.

  • I am a man who loves cartoons, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic not an exception. Incidentally, I also love Jem and the Holograms & Strawberry Shortcake Berry Bitty Adventures, also on the Hub and also "for girls".

I'm also not fluent in Japanese or Korean, but I listen to both Jpop & Kpop music and like it more than the American pop I hear on the radio.

Point is, I tend to like things that alienate even my fellow fans of niche interests and especially fellow bronies.

    I am a THING.

  • In my opinion.

I think mlp is just for little girls, it's pretty strange to see a man liking mlp.

  • @Bloddyfriend It was, and then men liked it so now they pretty much market the show toward bronies instead of little kids. The show itself is actually pretty fucked up. Several of the characters have mindbending mental breakdowns bordering on nightmare fuel.

  • F*CK the 80's MLP! They all sounded the same and Dash always said "dashing!" It was annoying. I wonder how long it's gonna take for people to not remember the old show when they hear the words "My Little Pony"

Also, that was the most stupid ending ever.

"Hurr Durr vidya gaems arnt fur gurls."

  • I got into the show because I'm transgender.

  • I'm 14, male and watch MLP: FiM... I have no regrets!

  • @nemesis0778 ha! me too!

  • Does anypony realize that the captions are completely wrong?

  • 3:05 Green Isn't Your Color, Episode 20.

DAMMIT, WHY DO I KNOW THIS FROM THE TOP OF MY HEAD AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Dont forget us teenagers :/

  • @Zombiehunterii7 Yeah don't forget about teenagers

  • The answer to this is simple. Faust engineered the show to be attractive to young males. That's quite obvious. No guy would be caught dead watching previous incantations of this franchise, because those were meant specifically for little girls. I don't know a single girl who watches this show, and I have about a dozen nieces under 12.

  • that girl was freakin right.it dosent matter what gender you are or WHY you like it.you just simply do.some people are thinking at this like a world where everything is cool ....some ppl like it because of cuteness or i really dont know.anyway the big idea is that if you like the show good for you...if you dont like it again : good for you.

    i am a brony

  • My Sister Watches Sports and i watch "Girly"Cartoons and we make fun of each other for that but its just jokes we dont accualy mean it. what im saying is their really is no such thing as ONLY for Boys and ONLY for Girls (except Restrooms of course)

  • @MadxCowx Forgot the kitchen.

  • i lol'd so hard when red dead was on screen

  • Red Dead Redemption and MLP:FiM. You have taught them well.

  • I don't like Clinton....

  • I love how the subtitles progressively give less and less of a fuck. It's like the subs are just like "fuck this, we're gonna go get high and watch MLP"

  • The level of Animation that never drops below impeccable quality, the powerful voice acting that carries the series and the characters being brilliantly designed and thus having excellent character development. That's what I like about it.

The morals which are recapped at the end of each episode, the uniqueness of each character and the fact that it uses a full female cast but not relying on sexual undertones (Unlike Anime (I'm not dissing Anime, I'm an Otaku.)).

There's no end to this list!

  • I just watched MLP FiM and saw a pony kick a bears ass and break his neck.... Little Girls show... Ya right...

  • I honestly don't give a crap if a grown man like MLP. My only problem is when the so called "Bronies" act like anyone saying they DON'T like MLP is the equivilent of genocide

  • @Evnyofdeath yeah normal bronies are fine, the ones who have a almost crazed love for the ponies and talk non stop about them are the ones who annoy me

  • @Chareater ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies ponies pony.

  • @kuwaimaha OH NOESSSSSSS

  • "Reasons for this unintended appreciation include a combination of Faust's creative contribution to the writing and characterization, the expressive Flash based animation style, themes older audiences can appreciate, and a reciprocal relationship between Hasbro, the creators, and the fans.

    ...Despite the target demographic of young girls, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic has become an Internet phenomenon with many fans of the show being males 14 to 35." ~ Wikipedia {Article - MLP:FiM}

  • 3:20 cmon lady, little children don't know what transgression means.

  • asking children about the gender issues and politics of a cartoon? You want to ask those questions to the creators not little children...

  • Why hate it?It's a kids show. It's an innocent childrens cartoon.

  • I never went through that period in life where I felt like I had to put away cartoons. Why do we have to stop watching them? To become more mature? We live in a time that's all about accepting differences, but will judge a certain group because they're "weird". I've learned through this community not to worry about what people think of me being Mormon or if I watch ponies in my free time. What is it that makes us want to be so accepted that we give up something we love?

  • Little girls playing Rated M western shooter Read Dead Redemption

  • Not quite.

    Intended audience=children+parents (oh look adults)

Why are you attacking people on the Internet who watch a kids show? Do you find pleasure in doing this? Is it anger, annoyance, jealousy, temptation, satisfaction? Are you invigorated? Just had to make another pointless comment on another pointless YTvid? You ASHAMED!?

  • @windowguylol I'm not attacking people on the internet who watch a kid's show. I'm telling them to man the fuck up and ADMIT they are watching a kid's show, instead of deluding themselves into believing they are part of the target demographic (they aren't).

I've watched all of the episodes of this kid's show, and I'm 20 years old and have a penis. I don't give a fuck.

  • @321cheeseman

Well, this is the internet and judging by your comments, I find it 5% believable that you've watched all eps, are 20 years old and have a penis.

    And really:

    "I don't give a fuck."

"I'm telling them to man the fuck up and ADMIT they are watching a kid's show, instead of deluding themselves into believing they are part of the target demographic (they aren't)."

Seemingly you do give a fuck.

Also the target demo' are kids+parents(adults). The animators/storyboarders make sure of it.

  • @windowguylol When I said, "I don't give a fuck," what I meant was "I don't give a fuck what people think about me watching a show meant for little girls". I thought that was pretty obvious considering context and all, but whatever.

Dude, if you seriously believe adult males are the target demographic for MLP, you are delusional. There's nothing wrong with watching a show meant for little girls, but there is something wrong with telling yourself it's ok because the show was designed for you.

  • @321cheeseman

But you still give a fuck "about telling them to man the fuck up and ADMIT they are watching a kid's show, instead of deluding themselves into believing they are part of the target demographic (they aren't)."

In 'that' context, it was obvious.

I just told you, the target demographic are kids+parents -hence adults-. I also told you the storyboarders/animators make sure of that so I don't "believe", I "know" this for a fact, therefore I'm not the delusional one here. -.-

  • @windowguylol I never said I didn't give a fuck about THAT. You just assumed.

“This might be a little short-sighted on my part, but I just assumed that any adult man who didn’t have a little girl wouldn’t even give it a try" - Lauren Faust

If the creator herself never once thought that adults without little girls would even consider watching it, how could they POSSIBLY be part of the demographic?

  • @321cheeseman

Hmm, nah. Visually, it's plainly obvious you do, otherwise you wouldn't still be here.

I'll repeat this again. The target audience are children+parents. Mainly children, but the animators/storyboarders make the show entertaining enough fitting reference (LOTR, Starwars Startrek etc.) for parents that children wouldn't get.

Lauren Faust thought adults w/o children wouldn't TRY the show.

    But turns a lot did.

Turns out the show appeals to them.

Now new episodes are shoutouts to them.

  • @windowguylol Parents of little girls are not the TARGET audience. Parents are expected to watch only when their kids are watching. A few references and jokes that kids will not get does not mean adults are the intended demographic.

If MLP has appeal beyond little girls, that just means the show is well-made. It doesn't mean it was SUPPOSED TO appeal to more than just little girls.

LOTS of kid's shows have widespread appeal. Dexter's Lab, Animaniacs, Rocko's Modern Life, Adventure Time, etc.

  • Comment removed

  • @321cheeseman @windowguylol

I've got the orbital friendship cannon warmed up, and ready to fire.

The show's made for young girls, but at the same time, it's designed so parents can watch it with their kids without wanting to rip their hair out.

There. Now can we get back to the love and toleration?
