hi there good as genuine pistons are better and replate your genuine cylinders are allways better then cheap kits

replates are £118.00 or £150.00 with bad damage

genuine piston kits £120.00

their is a fair vibration from my bike at mid revs from 5-7 then from 10-11 thinking main bearings ? any ideas is the rs ment to be vibratey ? like tht

@jamster8989 all 2 stroke engines are "vibratey" and sound tinny mate, unless the sound is really loud and sounds very unusual (knocking noice or loud rattleing, going with the same pace as the engine) i shouldnt worry to much , is performance ok? is it only at your stated rev's?

@merky69uk hi thanks for the comment I am just wondering just as i had a go on my freinds 2004 bike and his seemed to be much smoother than mine I the discoverd that the head bar that crosses from frame to frame and goses through the head was at sometime remove this sorted a fair bit of it out when i fitted a new one it seems to be fairly fine now also since i have just done the topend of it as it was low on comp

my rs wont start any more, theres slight compression, fuel is getting through and so is 2 stroke, there is also a good spark ??? any suggestions

100 %% agree genuine or the vertex or the wossner all good but not cheap like the mitaka or even worse chinese as they fit and they want to know why they cylinder has gone.

mitaka are a ok kit with mitaka piston fitted

@no1LCRACER i can totaly verifi this when i baught my bike it was fitted with a mitika topend kit witch went ok and i dont 3000kms on it befor it went i fitted a genuine rs cylinder but fitted it with a fairly cheap piston witch was 50 pound and i was wearing it in properly and after just 300 miles it went pop and tor all my newly rebored cylinder got it fixed with a genuine piston done 4,500 miles havent missed a beat
