I agree the 72 front looks racier than the 73... The grille itself isn't that bad - it's the damn 5mph bumper i despise... But i'd def walk the extra mile to find one WiTHOUT the vinyl roof...!
thanks for putting my torino in your video its the one from 1:09 to 1:13, it freaked me out the first time i watched your video. i think there are a lot of other sharp looking torino's in the video besides mine, very well done
The 1973 torino is not what I think to be a muscle car. By 1973 they were so de-tuned that they were but a shell of their former glory. To me, the 1969 through 1971 were the best of the best.
It's a matter of taste. Personally, I prefer the '72 over the '68-'71 for many reasons...style, body on frame, suspension, etc. I believe the '73 to be similar to the '72 on many aspects. A '73 sport with a Cobra Jet engine is definitely a muscle car.
Watching this takes me back to the 70's when I owned a 73 Gran Torino Sport. That was one of the nicest cars I ever owned..

"...gentle now the tender breeze blows
whispers through my Gran Torino
whistling another tired song
engine hums and bitter dreams grow
heart locked in a Gran Torino
it beats a lonely rhythm all night long..."
