i have the 993b and i like it, every now and then i clear the memory because the antenna can change and the memory remembers the previouse tuneup.its pretty tough too a couple of times i forgot to select the antenna and i was tuneing air and it didnt blow up.

I have one of these. Its ok, Its basically for the convenience. My old 949C kicks its butt on 160, so I have both of them in line
