  • This is ok, but not the best version, but at least it has this verse:

Has Anybody here seen Kelly, K.E.LL.Y. Have you seen him smile, His hair is red and his eyes are blue and he is irish through and through, has anybody here seen Kelly, Kelly of the Emerald Isle.

    Erin Go Braugh.

  • I have a shot glass my great grandmother gave me in the early 70's that has "has anybody here seen kelly" on it

  • Bruce, that nipper statue, is that a reproduction one or a original?

  • @Turkeydoodlers REPRO !!

  • @melodibede69 What is Downloadmusic.im ? and how are you affiliated with it ? Just curious as to why I am getting all of these strange messages on the Victrolaman Channel, all about downloading MY Channel selections to this website. What in the World is going on here ? Can you please explain?

    Victrolaman

  • @katrinaflenaugh02 what is the "Trend" you are referring to ? Could you kindly explain?

    Victrolaman

  • As a young man my grandfather was nicknamed "Kelly" from this song. I've always wanted to hear it. Thanks!

  • Thank You SO MUCH for this memory.....I heard this so many times..my Father, John Murphy sang this so many times!! I just wish I could get a copy of this little ditty, but now, I can at least play it from time to time!! Thank You Again!!

  • Thank you for posting i had not heard this version before. My favorite is the Florrie Ford version that my mother saw live in London. You have some fantastic equipment thank you again.

  • Thank you, Sir, for presentations like this. I have this recording on a CD... but so nice to see and hear it with the original ambience!

  • Very nice -- great to hear Nora Bayes thing. Thanks!

  • You are amazing. Thanks for all your knowledge and work!

  • This song is the 3rd most popular song in 1910... 100 years ago!!!

  • Great presentation, great performance. We miss the men shouting "NO!" as in the Jones cylinder of this song. Watching the disc spinning on the VV-VI adds to the experience. You don't have many views, but with your posts you are providing a great resource for those who are interested, or about to become interested, in this fascinating slice of musical and technological history... a select group! Thank you!

  • You should have more views on your videos, this is great.

  • Thank you for your comment. I guess the popularity of one's videos depends a great deal on word of mouth, so if you enjoy them please feel free to spread the word. As you know I try to not only provide interesting selections from the early days of recorded sound, but some of the history of the record, the performer and some information about the phonograph being played as well. In addition, you will note that my videos cover a vast array of different recorded sound genres. Thanks again.

  • Thank you Miss Pickletoes, since it was a Victor Record that was playing, I thought it would be only right if I invited Nipper in for the event. He seemed to be enjoying it.

  • Loved the dog listening!! Thanks for sharing! A great recording.
