This game was released on Arcade Classics Data East on Wii. But man, That game sucks, Alot of great games but no music in certain parts, and the screens are really small.
This game is awesome. I remember playing it a LOT when I was a kid. I'd write down where every power up was so I wouldn't waste any keys with useless boxes.
I played this in the arcades, and had it for my NES.Man I wasted a few dollars on the rail boss, the one with the retractable arms, manned by two personnel. Finally beat it with the frag 'nades, this brings back the memories with the quickness.
Yo these are some of the hottest HD graphics I've ever seen. And listen to that THX sound. God this game brings back memories. Like sticking two cartridges in my NES just to get this game to work, after an hour of blowing the game no less.
I love the song on the elevator part, I imagine that in a guitar! Great memories of childhood playing this game at my neighbor's house! Does anybody have the mp3 file of that song?!?!
Great game, arcade version was better because some of the item boxes were exposed so you didn't need a key for every one of them. Also the red grenades were my favorite, very powerful and can clear a lot of enemies. Also in the arcade version i figured out a pattern of collecting the gun pieces in such a way that I'd have it for a few seconds for the final boss and after i shot his arms off it just stood there helpless at my mercy; but forget it by now.:(
Absolutely loved this game growing up. Although me and my brother could never beat the last boss. I like the blue flame as secondary which we just dubbed the icicle growing up.
i like this game

My friend and I would play this game every day after lunch in college. Getting the heavy barrel was a blast every time and very helpful at the end.

What do they say when they get the 'Heavy Barrel'? My buddy and I always joke around and say 'RE-MO!', but it has to be something else, right?

I might check that out. At least it is better than NES Ikari Warriors, but it is slower paced than Guerilla War.
Nintega 5 years ago
Mmm, it is slower paced. It's a little less intuitive at times too.
