What temperature was the hyd oil getting too? ... man there must be a fair amount of heat build up from just the radiated heat ... on your rams and piping .. is this on the West Coast?.

Great video! You say your CO2 alarm went off but you stuck at it! Brave man! Did they not modify your machine at all? I remember a similar situation in south Wales (uk) where an underground mine (or may have been an old rubbish dump, not 100% sure) had been burning for quite some time. The excavators the company used were modified before hand with better air filtration for the operator, pull cord fire extinguishers etc. I wouldn't like to be the dumper driver in your vid though!
