You are mistaken 1) it is cute 2) it is not cruel 3) read up - his mother was shot while carrying him and then he was put in a cage outdoors and left overnight. his eyes were barely open and he would never have survived in the wild. He was so tiny there was no way to tend to his needs and give him comfort with bonding badgers bond very strongly for the first 7 or so months of life. If you watch our other videos you will find that i discuss the challenges and do not recommend this.
Badger pups should not be acclimated to humans. It is not cute it is cruel. Say it goes back to the wild, and instead of being wary of humans, approaches one who kills it. Videos like this encourage people to think they are cute cuddly animals. They are not. Suppose some child comes across a pup outside, plays with it like in this video. The mother badger shows up, attacks her. The child is maimed or killed, animal control hunts it down and kills it, the badger pup becomes an orphan.
That must be when I laugh - i couldn't help it. isn't that just the funniest face??He is so amazing. SO MUCH personality. really a joy and a blessing.
