Buzz makes a good point that now we as humans look to the sky and get more advantage with technology that we now see aliens. Aliens fit inside the evolution theory. And it can make us feel small and notithing special like "god(s)". Perhaps we are now looking at it different, but we need proof. I would advise americans not to call the army if they find another rosswell but an anonimous sciencelab and keep as much for oneself. If the state fails to protect us that we have to protect ourself.

Well, IDK about that. I'm a skeptic and I want to see UFOs more than anything. I also believe in UFOs more than any other non-evidenced phenomena b/c of the probability of it.

If it's true we will all know at some point for sure. At this point there is not enough evidence to say 100% this is real. If there was, this would be an accepted scientific fact,, it's not as of yet. We'll see..

Let's say it's true, why hide it? Military purposes? I think that if it is true, then the cover up could be about Religion and how those cultures will be impacted, including in the USA. I certainly believe that most high rank military personnel are religious people. Despite a big atheist movement, America remains by large a christian nation. Most or all religious people do not see ET life mixing with their beliefs. So, maybe the cover up is in fear of a world collapsed. Haha good one huh?

i would like to think that if they had the wisdom to use their technology to get to another planet instead of using it to self destruct like we are going to end up doing with ours then they probably have some ethical behavior. Antares, Michael keeps saying that people misinterpret what they see when it comes to UFOs. That would be a plausible explanation if UFOs were spotted only a handful of time by people who aren't all that educated. But UFOs have been seen thousands of times by legions of credible people, military, police, pilots and others. When you have so many people stating they saw something that wasn't of this Earth, you cannot just dismiss the testimony.

@Antares321 Michael Sherman is simply stating the methods how science works. Proving existence of UFO will require very very strong scientific evidence. Remember Carl Sagan's "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence"?

In addition, it is not up to Michael Sherman to disprove anything... it is up to others to prove its existence.. and no amount of visual and anecdotal evidence is enough.

Very nice. Here in Italy, all the documentaries about ufos are so boring, they keep saying all the times the same stories, nothing new each time. Furthermore, in tv debates, the "skeptic" figure plays all the times the same role: someone paid to stay there, saying a lot of nonsense, making noise. I'd like to see more interesting things on tv here where I live, but tv level is pairing the avg. cultural level of italian people (wich is getting unfortunately veeeeeeery low, believe me...)
