There is a navy in warhammer 40k, and it's called the Imperial Navy (correct me my fellow warhammer 40k brothers.) Technically, they use huge ships, launch exterminatus, wage war, and most of all, win every time >:)
loved the combat but 2 things bugged me about this game... lieutenant is pronounced leftenant constantly... and more importantly the final boss is nothing but a reflex combat and not even challenging

the one thing that pissed me off,. Ultramarines are in the game, so why is there no mention of the Tyranids!? (please note I am biased because I run a 'nid army.) Though what they did is great I just want to see the nids in all their glory.

@DomEReapeR are you barring the earned appearances from the match modes? there are lots of earned appearances for leveling armies, and some of those skins are just soooo enviable like the daemon sword for the Chaos Lord.
@phantomkitsunezero Even with just the starting gear it's still way deeper when it comes to painting and customizing, if you happen to fall in love with the multiplayer like i did, and level up to get some of the other gear then it's just even better!

I agree that Jack knows very little about video games in general, even the Halo franchise. I believe a lot of people don't know about Warhammer because of there lack of actual advertisement outside of the hardcore gaming community.
This game was strictly designed with Warhammer 40K fans in mind from the story to the achievements. If you have barely touched this game or even read it, you will be completely lost and have no idea what the hell anything is.
So if you are in the slightest bit interested in this game, read up a little bit at the Lexicanium, that way you won't be wondering what in the hell a Tech-priest is or who the hell Guilliman is.
The @RoosterTeeth team can't name any game asset correctly. They even have trouble with Halo. So I'm convinced it's some sort of inside joke we should all laugh at.
If achievements were easy in multiplayer, then it wouldn't be an ACHIEVEMENT. I agree that multiplayer shouldn't have most of the achievement POINTS, but when it does have multiplayer achievements, they should be difficult and challenging when you're dealing with things like teams and such.

I was talking about the bit where you mentioned the gun ripped off GoW, the gameplay mechanics are the same in most 3rd person shooters and GoW certainly did not invent them, they were also ripped off from other games, however does that make it a bad game? This game was strictly designed with Warhammer 40K fans in mind from the story to the achievements. If you have barely touched this game or even read it, you will be completely lost and have no idea what the hell anything is.
So if you are in the slightest bit interested in this game, read up a little bit at the Lexicanium, that way you won't be wondering what in the hell a Tech-priest is or who the hell Guilliman is.

If achievements were easy in multiplayer, then it wouldn't be an ACHIEVEMENT. I agree that multiplayer shouldn't have most of the achievement POINTS, but when it does have multiplayer achievements, they should be difficult and challenging when you're dealing with things like teams and such.

The over the shoulder view with the zoomed in aiming options. Even the gun and interface resembles gears of war. Please kid, don't sit there and tell me this game is original by any means because it isnt. Its a failure of a strategy game and now a failure 3rd person shooter.

@FatalThrive Actually the strategy games are VERY successful, and this in no way is a gears gameplay rip off. You would know it is... If it used the same gun system So what? Does it matter? No , it in no way effects the actual gameplay. The weapons are in no way like the gears weapons. The closest I see is the Lancer and the Bolter.. and that isn't close at all in my opinion. The 3rd Person shooter (Spacemarine) In my opinion so far is very good. I beat it yesterday and i like the multiplayer.

I was talking about the bit where you mentioned the gun ripped off GoW, the gameplay mechanics are the same in most 3rd person shooters and GoW certainly did not invent them, they were also ripped off from other games, however does that make it a bad game? No. Also the strategy games sold millions and made a ton of profit for THQ so I doubt that is a failiure.

Alien did indeed have Space Marines before 40K. What I was saying is that it is not fair to call 40K Marines a "rip off" of the Marines from Alien as they are radically different. Just look at their armour and weapons, drastically different. Do you understand my point now?
