This is some thing very philosophical and embeded with beautiful phrases, although I am punjabi speaking and adore this poetry, yet I find myself helpless to grasp the deep meanings. I would if Daljithans could help me and many others in this respect. Pervaiz Mehdi is undoubetly one of the most talented artists of 1970-80 era. Ufortunately his life span was cut short and those who listen to his lyrics greatly appreciate his talent. May his soul rest in peace. Amin

This is one of the great shagird of Mehdi Hassan sahab.....Delar mehndi Indian singer was so Impressed by Parvez...he called himself Mehdi too.......but He spelled wrong and called him mehndi....

If there was anyone in Toronto around 1982/83... I'm sure they'd remember when the Late Lali Vij and the Late Charlie Mehra had brought Khan Saheb to perform at Donlands Cinema. I'm also hopeful of people remembering how Lali Ji had videotaped the concert and broadcasted Jhalkian of it on his programs which at the time were on Global TV.

PLEASE look through your old video libraries and check to see if you have those programs... if you do, I urge you to upload them.
