a truly forgettable series by HBO, in my opinion.
Boring as hell and how many times are we going to see young servicemen masturbating. That's all I really remember out of this series. My wife said the same thing to me after seeing it the third of four time.
Don't waste your time with this one.

@fmscribs completely disagree. I loved it immediately. If you go in expecting mature behavior by a large group of 20 year olds then you are not asking for authenticity. I am glad they took the romance out of war. I grew to really care about the characters because of the authenticity. Their behavior made them more real and there are moments of genuine humanity throughout the episodes that really got to me including within the relationships between characters that I found really compelling.
