@elektroraver143 It all depends with parrot fish. Most of them are calm natured and can get along with many different types of other fish. But you can get the select few that are pretty aggressive. Just depends. All the BP's i've had though, they've been really calm with other fish, no aggression at all. And even if other fish have been aggressive to them, they just blow the other fish off and ignore it. they're pretty hardy fish. huge personalities also.

@source9 Angels will keep and spawn at pH from about 6 to 8. A hardness of five or so is tolerated without any major changes. Above that the fish spawn less often in some people's experience.
@source9 parrots arent african...they are a man made hybridization. They are not a naturally occurring species, therefor, they are not found in the wild.
I think it would be CRAZY! but since the fish have been bred in captivity so long they are more forgiving. but I would suggest not keeping them together as it just ruins it for me. I just like being brought to Lake Malawi not Malawi, Tanganyika, and the amazon all at the same time. and even then its just artificial and not NATURAL. but I respect this persons decision of mixing the places(not my cup of tea).
but they have long flowing fins and sometimes maybe fall victim to nipping and maybe even killed ! They also are mainly docile and other more aggressive cichlids would kill it. I keep Angelfish with tropical fish and once with cichlids and the outcome was DEVASTATING! but yes they are cichlids.
not favorable but you could get by with the more milder electric yellows, yellow tailed Acei, and possibly a red zebra but I wouldn't get to many maybe 2 of each except the red zebra; only get one. but sure if you make many water changes and dont over stock you can be successful! good luck:)

angels = south american cichlid (requiring pH 5.5-6.2 and 0 GH degree).
parrots = African cichlid (requiring pH 8.0-8.2 and very high hardness degree).
at least one group of fishes is getting shafted in this tank...
