@c0decub The independent variable would be choosing to have sex with the female, the dependent would simply be contracting the AIDS virus as it is a result of the independent variable.
At first I thought the $139 an hour was the independent variable until they explained that numbers are never variables because they're always constant! I also like knowing that when I don't have control over something, it is a dependent variable. This really clarified things! Thanks!
