I find the backing track hard to sink in coz it's just way too off the vocals. This style of music is indeed very black. Comes naturally to the artist. I don't think any latino, white or asian guy can pull this off with the same feel in a live performance. It's like the audio file of the vocals in the mix were moved back behind intentionally.
