@ChulaKirby Yeah, you're right, Rosanne Barr's individual pent up violent urges and the slowness of response in a country that has seen nary any collective social activism since the 1960's and is coddled with gizmos and material comforts abound kind of renders this whole thing moot. You're right, why try? It's not like there's anything to be upset about right? This sand tastes delicious! Let's think of more asinine, mundane reasons to dismiss the efforts of these protestors....

They are just slow and I think it is because of the drugs. The bail outs happened 3 and 2 years ago when everyone else was protesting. We are now 13 months from an election, Obama is traveling the country speaking against the rich only 1 yr after extending their tax cuts while the super rich, Buffet and Co are having campaign fund raising dinners to get him re-elected. ROFL Jumping up and down and screaming at police on a bridge isn't a solution although topless protesters is enjoyable!
