if u buy this anime I'll warn u "Buy the Anime Works version" the dub on this one is horrible, Kenshin's voice is the only 1 thats the same but his dialogue sucks though.
The reason why is probably because they coundn't get the original writers and voice actors. Or they were being cheap and figured the fans wouldn't notice the change.
@mapleure6 Not all dubs are bad. As a matter of fact there are plenty that are better than the Japanese versions. Hellsing Ultimate, Rurouni Kenshin (Animeworks), there's plenty. Only some dubs are shitty. Like Sailor Moon or this version of Kenshin.
A freaking gatling gun will kill Kenshin... True strength does NOT come from within. Aztecs were first developed, having an army almost five times larger than the Conquistadors. And yet, the Spainards won because of guns :P
Here comes the history nerd. I like how this series refers to events/things that happened (Capt. Perry, fall the Shogun, gatling gun) but the few British/American salors that did make it to Japan were not free to roam around the town so...how come the Irish are on the loose?? Now Mr. T...that's another story all together!
Maybe just maybe they had hoped in japan to have one irish cop maybe just maybe 1 cop could be a little differnt who noes with thes translations next thing u no there will be Mr, T cops lol I pitty the fool.
