  • mosleys dad seems uncertain and too calm.. he needs to light a fire under shane at this point

  • mosley struggled with vernons range.. he was never comfortable with the reach

  • no it wasn't the Headbutt it was the skills

  • A young mosley would not lost like he did against Mayweather. He was to slow for Mayweather at this stage. i would love to see Forest fight Mayweather, but at that point Mayweather was not ready for such a strong guy. RIP Vernon.

  • Forrest cleaned Mosley's clock in both fights!

  • Yo larry merchant said something @4:29 that is true 4 most great fighters. I just dont think it will happen 2 floyd

  • @reg510

But Floyd does not keep fighting the best fighters. Floyd has been fighting at 147 for 5-6 yrs. Whos the best he fought at 47? The answer is Zab Judah. Floyd hasnt lost bc he hasnt been stretching his abilities. Shane never ducked ANYONE. He kept looking 4 the biggest challenge possible. Would Floyd ever fight 6' Forest? FUCK NO. Would Floyd ever have fought Winky? Fuc No. What about an undefeated Cotto? Nope- Floyd retired avoiding those top welters.

  • @ironnoonSD anything to say now

  • @reg510 sure.. first off i used to be a Floyd fan back before u prob even like the sport. My criticism of him is not some sort of blind hate like many who hate on various fighters. He campaigned in a division for 5-6 yrs all the while avoiding any real challenge. i got sick of his shitty competitive spirit (and the fact that him and his camp are human trash outside the ring did not help). I said b4 the fight: if Floyd beats Shane ill give him props and just by taking the fight he was on the

  • @ironnoonSD Ok, honestly i have been a floyd fan since 97 the year he won fighter of the year. But i dont think u were a true fan bcuz u just dont completely switch sides about any person n any sport that has committed no flaws in that sport at all!!!

  • @reg510 For me, a fighter's spirit is far more important that his record. Winning is the only thing that matters in sports - but boxing is not just a sport to me. Mosley is Floyd's first real challenge in many years and there's simply not enough space to help u draw the same conclusion.

  • @reg510 right path to regaining his dignity. Floyd looked amazing against Shane. LISTEN, i am obsessed w the sport of boxing. All i hav ever asked of Floyd and any fighter is that they seek out the greatest challenges & stretch their abilities (i.e. FIGHT THE BEST!) Im happy for Floyd's fans after last night cuz Lord knows u guys hav defied ALL odds by continuing to support him through these last several yrs. I will b completely off Floyds case if he continues 2 fight the best - simple as that.

  • @ironnoonSD so basically ur not an all or nothing guy. Ur a safe guy which is understandable. I mean with that type of thinkin u would b a josh clottey type of fighter takin no chances. And remember man its lonely at the top. And that is where floyd is, has been, and in my opinion will continue to be. I dont look at it as defying the odds because im still a fan of his, i actually think its quite ez 2 b a floyd fan bcuz he has no loses and whenever he is supposed 2 lose 2 sum1 he never does.

  • @reg510 i dont understand wut u were saying with me being a safe guy. im confused.

  • @ironnoonSD bcuz u said how floyd fans have defied the odds 2 still b his fan. plus u said u were a fan of his. so im sayin u didnt wanna take that heat

  • @reg510 when was the last time floyd was "supposed to lose"?

  • @ironnoonSD wow man r u serious? just look at the zab judah film on what the commentators say, baldomir, oscar, definitely hatton, marquez, and definitely shane. U have to watch wat people where sayin prior to the fight not after. but bcuz since he beat those guys so bad it turns out they later say he is still just floyd mayweather. Just look at his fights man, im so serious

  • @reg510 I have no problem revisiting my words because my logic has no holes in it. What I said before still remains true. Sorry, but One great victory does not erase 6 years of cherry picking and dicking around. Floyd is an amazing specimen there is no doubt about it- that is why his management of his career has pissed me off the most. I can handle a fighter losing. I cant handle a fighter not fighting the best, disrespecting the sport, slandering those that fight for something other than $, etc

  • @ironnoonSD And ur write bout one gr8 victory erasing 6 yrs of cherry picking, tho i dont agree with that. But the same can be said about one loss on his record cant erase a lifetime of perfection in the ring. think about that!?!?! And im just saying that the possibility of him losing is there but its guys like u that make it seem like the possibility of him having no loses ever is so far fetched. And if his opponents were so hand picked then Y does he have so many belts?

  • @ironnoonSD u have 2 beat the champ to get those belts?

  • This may well be the worst beating in Shane's career . His head was snapped back at such regularity that it is almost painful to watch

  • Three of my childhood heroes were taken from us this year....Vernon Forrest, Arturo Gatti and Steve "Air" Mcnair.

  • Shane would've had more success if he put more pressure on and head movement ala Aaron Pryor !!! The Viper was technically superior with faints , good movement , etc. The only way to counter this is with akwardness , unorthodox style.

  • shane sits back and tries to counter he gets hit wit a right. if he rushes in he gets an uppercut, vernon couldn't be solved this fight

  • RIP Vernon, one of the greatest fighters of our time!!! you will be missed

  • @HardheaD8623 Yea, I respect Vernon , but one of the greatest fighters of our time? The guy lost to Sergio Mora , give me a fucking break .. name another top fighter he beat besides Mosley. He had Shane's number , that's all.
