This man was Ralph Williams pitchman, what was called in the old late nite TV ads. This guy had a dog named Storm ( on the hood) yes sir funny as hell.
This dealership located Northwest Chrysler Plymouth here in Seattle.
This ad was about 1971 or thereabouts. Chick Lambert a very funny guy, I believe RW and Chick had a great joke and laugh on this one, yes sir.
Chick's dog storm was not with him this time. Great guy from yesteryear.
That one is from Ralph Williams Northwest Chrysler Plymouth here in Seattle.
Chick was no angel either. Probably got rich as Ralph's right hand guy.
The commercials are probably mock commercials and never aired.
A friend of mine has been in TV for a long time and he says the studio engineers would be diving for the kill switch the moment things went sour back then.
The FCC had sharper teeth back then and there would be some splainin' to do!
@dave2806 Well, kinda. But it also means you can get LESS than what u pay for, especially when the bald-headed son-of-a-bitch prick Ralph Williams is getting MORE than he is really owed.
I used to watch Chick doing live spot commercials at 2 a.m. on channel 9, 11 or 13 here in L.A. It was always fun to see this guy out in some car lot in the wee hours of the morning. Chick was the last of the big-time pitchmen on local TV. This stuff is priceless. I just wish somewhere someone would come up with a video of that Bald Headed Son of a Bitch himself, Ralph Williams. That would be great! THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!
Chick Lambert is one of the very few used-car salesman who tells it like it is.
I remember when Ralph Williams had his dealership up there on Aurora- he had a 400-dollar-bill "coupon" with his photo on it in the newspaper, we used it for a Christmas tree ornament one year (yeah, I guess it was a bit warped).
