all I know is I have to pay more for a lot of things now, meaning less of my dollars get spread around to other people when I use services. I also know that the company I work for has to charge an extra 8% on their service, meaning less people will want to pay for it, meaning less business for my company. How the hell does that create jobs? all its doing is sucking more money out of the economy.

The HST as new system of tax administration is a good thing for businesses. What needs to be done is take out those elements that impose new and increased tax burdens on the consumer at this difficult economic time.
