@fatalitydead I've never played Deus Ex, so I can't and won't try and compare it to Bioshock. But for all intents and purposes Bioshock Infinite is a completely different game from Bioshocks 1 and 2. From what I've seen and read of interviews, its storyline will have little to nothing to do with Rapture, aside from the use of plasmids and such. However, you cannot accuse it of being dumbed down when crap like MW2 and other mindless killing games are circulating around the mainstream as well.

And just because its not the same developer, does not mean that its not the "real" Bioshock. Irrational games was hired to do this game for the publisher because the original developer was probably too busy to work on it. so expect more Bioshock people.

@coolguy11897 The reason that Bioshock is in the title is beacause it is somehow related to the story of Rapture and Andrew Ryan and all that. I dont know how, but there has got to be some reason why. However, it could also be a story that contains all same gameplay elements but exists in a separate universe so to speak. Like in the Call of Duty series. Every game isnt related by story, yet the still have Call of Duty in the title
