Yes, it certainly does depend on what one likes. I happen to prefer the L'Oreal look much more than the Px mascara. The clumped lashes have always reminded me of dead spider legs so you can see why I would not find it appealing. :)

I LOVE IT! OMG I just bought the false lash today. I can't wait to try it :) If it sucks though, I'm taking it back and exchanging for the lash envy. I never knew the LE was waterproof until today!!

The reason Lash Envy is darker is because Prescriptives uses twice the amount of pigment as other companies, and I agree, the darker the lash, the better the look. I like Lash Envy because it's a lightweight gel-based mascara that adds lots of volume but doesn't clump.
