  • i love this documentary.

  • Uliana has the most gorgeous swan arms I have ever SEEN!!!!! They are truly breathtaking!!

  • Saw it in Netflix

  • anyone know where i could download the documentary entitled 'ballerina' from? this clip is taken from it... :)

  • If I could do something this beautiful with my body everyday, my life would be complete.

  • @femmedebelle

It hurts just to watch. Who was the monster who invented pointe shoes? That is sooo unnatural!

  • @pinz2022 Weeelll.. I do pointe and I love it! It's beautiful. It doesn't actually hurt all that much and there is some amount of pain in any sport really. It's the kind of pain that you just live with and continue on with. You can't get anywhere in life with out a little suffering! Haha that sounds really bad.... But when you think about it, it's true. :)

  • this clip is in the documentary, "BALLERINA"...very good documentary, a few years old but it can be downstreamed on netflix.

  • She`s not a dancer.

    She`s an angel.

  • Amazingly beautiful...

  • True beauty doesn't need a sound.

  • This is perfection, period.

  • Uliana IS Odette.

  • A classic moment, and much too brief. I recognized Uliana dancing in the 2010 Winter Olympic closing ceremonies (Russia being the host of the next Winter Olympics). Even beneath all the makeup and costume, it was obviously Uliana.

  • @pherankh I saw her toooooo!! Except it wasn't during the closing ceremonies, there was an actual show and she did a piece from Carmen at the Orpheum. It was so good!

  • this part is the saddest one, i cry everytime I watch it

  • Are those little kids watching her lucky or what? Such a beautiful video!

  • I've never seen such lovely arms.... beautifull!!!!!

  • unbelievable ... what wonderful arms..

    crazy

  • Breathtaking.

  • Her arms are amazing.

One of my favourite videos of her.

  • this is exquisitely beautiful. No mirror, no self-indugance. She IS the swan here, she becomes a swan.

  • they say she was bandy/bow-legged as a child....I am too, and watching her dance gives me hope for the future. I wonder, how did she overcome this physical impediment?

  • shes a beautiful dancer! didnt she take a 2 year break? we watched the documentary this clip is from in my dance class at school! :)

  • @gogators1115 do you know what the name of it is?

this clip was too short!! absolutely beautiful...

  • look at her arms!!!! incredible... Ulyana, you are perfect.

  • The bit with the children peering in through the window really makes me smile.

  • She is Brilliant.

  • this is beyond stunning. end of story. breathtaking!

  • Even though this is a short video, its one of my most favorites. It is absolutely beautiful in all ways, from the lighting, her beautiful movements and the children watching through the door.

  • At 0:49 and 1:09--that's certainly Lopatkina's profile....

Remember--Fokine choreographed La Mort du Cygne for Pavlova-- who was comparitively tall, as ballerinas went....

  • Of course it's her!! What a question!!

  • It's so amazing how still her body is at the begining where she's doing cwrw

  • Her port de bras is to die for. If there was ever any wonder why ballet is high art, uliana is the living embodiment.

  • im speechless

  • WOW

  • I love all the kids crowding around the door to get a view of her.

  • Oh my gosh...that close-up on her arms was BREATHTAKING.

  • I love the view from behind, there's things you don't notice otherwise like how amazing her turnout is, plus how beautiful her back and neck are. So exquisite.

  • I forgot to breath... She's inspiring, dazzling, beautiful. A swan

  • Аж дух захватывает

  • So beautiful!!! I wish I could know more about her choices in the coreography and the movements she does. During these years, she has being changing them, improving them... This documentary is on Lopatkina??

  • i could watch this all day, one of my favorite videos. just her in that sillhouette is so breathtaking. she has THE best hands and arms of any dancer i have ever seen

    its haunting in silence. impecable

  • @tutus4life You should watch the documentary "Ballerina". It's about the dance life of many Russian dancers including Ulianas!

  • Isn't she beautiful?!..... her hands.... unbelievable....

  • I love this. It's so poingant. The silence makes it even moreso.

  • Wow! She is graceful and seems full of potential. I wish they would just show her doing more than bourre!

  • my self esteem just hits rock bottom when i look at an amazing dancer like her, good gosh wish i could be as graceful and skinny!!! beautiful and incredible.

  • wow she looks so pretty as a silouette (sp?)
