  • @Stevo6452

    As requested.

D-i-c-k-h-e-a-d , dickhead. There you go buddy.

  • "Miracle of pregnancy..."

i thought miracles were only divine interventions that happened once?the parting of the red sea,the immaculate conception....a woman getting knocked up?

  • @warpedwiselegoman hmm...if a woman getting knocked up is a miracle...then me getting fucking smashed should be one as well.

  • So this (really cute-looking, damnit!) priest is in Europe. A continent on which many countries already have an atheist majority up to more than 80%. And tells the Fox creatard that atheism is just a trend in literature? XD

  • "I have a lot of (insert group you want to disparage) friends"

  • Silly pedophile preist.

  • Comment removed

  • also.... brilliant video

  • can i buy your door?

  • Comment removed

  • You know what was also a fad?

    The theory of evolution.

But, you know, we all go through phases :D

  • I find it funny that during the Fox clips you see muslim praying in the background and Fox routinely talk about muslims in a negative light. Hmm, makes you wonder

  • LOL

  • 1:39, thats called atheistic agnosticism

  • @takarashi2 More like Agnostic Atheism.

  • "90% of Americans believe in gawd!". So the 10% who are left are a threat to the vast majority's religion, and, who by the way, have a bodyguard called the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE? Would that explain the power that arcs from my fingertips as I maniacally destroy xmas creches and run around holding apart the hands of those who would pray?

  • "There is no fad, in the general public!" Just in smart people.

  • hilarious! I love this commentary. father jonathan got owned. I do think it ironic that they pick a church figure to talk about atheism as if he is somebody that would know anything about it. Why not talk to an actual atheist? Why then faux news would just be doing honest journalism and that would just not be fox news.

  • @Letitallfuckingburn Also, you have to consider this: all the books of the Bible were written by humans, through instruction of God. Do you think God would have them write a bunch of words/terms (referring to emotions) that we don't understand?

It is up to you whether you believe in God or not, but is there a religious book older than the Old Testament that describes events that actually happened and foretells the coming of one that was believed to be the son of God?

  • @rev101ben rigveda of Hinduism 1700-1100 BCE. Would you count egyptian hieroglyphs becuse your jesus doesn't seem, to be the only god on the block born from a virgin. O and while we are on the old testament do you really think we sould be getting our morals from a genocidal god (if it is real). But hey if following this thing you call a god makes you feel better then i wish you the best what ever helps you sleep at night.

  • @Letitallfuckingburn Let's throw out every religion that hasn't withstood the test of time thus far. What other religion has predicted this virgin birth thousands of years prior?

It was already determined that the Noah's ark theory is feasible, since we have proof that there was a catastrophic flood that wiped out most of the Earth. In the Bible, God says He'll never destroy the Earth again until His return, and hasn't so far. Genocide? They were warned, but very few listened.

  • @rev101ben virgin birth of which god Horus,Krishna,Dionysus,Buddha,Danae, Melanippe,Auge,Antiope or jesus? The funny thing is all of the gods i listed belong to older religions except the last one. Most the land we stand on was at one time a sea floor why do you think we find fossils of sea creatures that lived millions of years ago on top of mountains. exaple: Liopleurodon. You(god) can't justify genocide by saying people didn't listen to you(god). You have a very bloodthirsty god

  • @Letitallfuckingburn I don't know man, I don't know. I'm just an "amateur" Christian. I believe in God, you can believe in whatever god you want, or none for that matter. I'm gonna go ahead and give up now. Have a nice day :)

  • @rev101ben O thx you have a nice day too

  • @C0ct0pusPrime You should start by reading the apologetics version of the Bible. It will explain a lot of the things that don't make sense to you. It's small wonder that a religion that has been around for thousands of years has become easier to disbelieve.

Wouldn't it make more sense to try to prove a "theory" that will potentially send you to hell, than to waste time disproving it. I mean... if you're wrong, you only have eternity to pay for it.

  • @rev101ben "You should start by reading the apologetics version of the Bible. It will explain a lot of the things that don't make sense to you."

i read the original word of the supposed christian god, i don't need to read a book that is nothing more than a bunch of excuses for the immorality and contradictions contained within it.

"if you're wrong, you only have eternity to pay for it."

why is it that i know more about your arguments than you do? pascals wager: google why its bs.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime So far, I see just that- arguing, with nothing to back it up. And the Bible was written by men thousands of years ago. Do you really think you're supposed to read it once and comprehend it fully? People spend their entire lives making sense of it.

Name one contradiction. If I can't explain it, I'll quit commenting.

  • @rev101ben "Do you really think you're supposed to read it once and comprehend it fully? People spend their entire lives making sense of it."

you would think god would make it somewhat easy to understand & follow, wouldn't you? & people waste their lives worrying about a lot of holy text, that only proves that people waste their time.

1st result when 'biblical contradictions' is googled (read 1st paragraph)

    infidels(dot)org/library/modern/jim_meritt/bible-contradictions(dot)html

  • @C0ct0pusPrime You would think... if God were human. God doesn't have a fallible brain like us, therefore we can't expect to make sense of His intentions.

Pick one of the instances in that paragraph. There are enough there to keep me busy for a week... and when you were reading the Bible, as you claim to have done, did you actually come across any of these contradictions, or did you just read that somebody else did and decided to believe them?

  • @rev101ben "God doesn't have a fallible brain like us, therefore we can't expect to make sense of His intentions."

so god made us with fallible brains and then gave us an extremely long, confusing, and contradictory holy text for us to interpret for ourselves? and if we interpret wrong, disagree, or study it enough to see where it doesn't seem to make sense or be very moral, we get eternal punishment? still not the kind of god i would worship, even if his existence were proven.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime God made us so that we can think and make decisions for ourselves. How interesting would the world be if everyone had infallible brains? Everything would be the same. What I believe (and this is how I make sense of it) is that at some point in our lives we develop a conscience. The more you read the Bible, the more your conscience develops. When you start to betray your conscience is when you blatantly commit "sin".

  • @rev101ben "at some point in our lives we develop a conscience. The more you read the Bible, the more your conscience develops."

i absolutely disagree. when i was christian (raised catholic, confirmed & everything), i could get away with 'sinning' (i'd rather call it behavior that hurts others) as long as i repented for it later. when i realized how silly religion really is (all, not just christianity) & became an atheist, i had to take actual, full responsibility for my actions.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime Which is why I've always been opposed to the Catholic way of thinking. If there is no God, I see no reason in having a conscience. What purpose would evolution have to make a man feel guilty after committing what would essentially be a "sin", some of which don't hurt others?

  • @rev101ben why do humans sare 98% of of the same DNA with a monkey (answers.yahoo.com). Why does the bible say the earth is 6000 years old yet it was proven by radiometric dating to be over 4 billion years old. I can go on but i only have so much space. please explain if you can

  • @Letitallfuckingburn Haha. I'll save this one for another day. I will pose a counter-question to the monkey theory- If we evolved from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys? Also, have you done any searching for these answers? I found several like this just browsing google. Just gotta weed out the ridiculous sounding ones...

  • @rev101ben i said we sare 98% of our DNA with monkeys. That does not mean we evolved from them just that we have a common ancestor.

  • @rev101ben what makes a god?

  • @Letitallfuckingburn A god? Man. God? No one, according to all recorded evidence and beliefs based on the Christian faith.

  • @rev101ben i feel sad for the people only follow your belief out of fear for what might happen after they die this sounds like a slave religion.

  • @Letitallfuckingburn I do too. That's not my reason, but I guess it all depends on who you are. I believe not only because I've found nothing to disprove the Bible, but also because I get a certain "soundness" from praying. I feel relieved when I pray for forgiveness. I honestly believe that we have a conscience for a reason. Why would something that evolved from an amoeba have a conscience? That makes not sense to me.

  • @rev101ben if your god is turly omnipotent then if the book that is his only proof of even being real is wrong one time then how can it(god) be omnipotent. But the funny thing to me is how many human emotions your god has it just reminds me of how the greeks humanise there gods. I think we can agree the greek gods are not real but what makes your god any different

  • @Letitallfuckingburn As I've said, the "book" quotation marks because it is comprised of many books) is not wrong, it has just been interpreted over thousands of years. The original version was right.

Yes, God has human emotions. We were made in his likeness, so in a sense, you could say we have God's emotions. Who is to say he doesn't have other emotions? This, however, doesn't mean that he has human logic.

  • @rev101ben well then your "book" was wrong about the age of earth so please interpret that the way i look at it is how come your "god" didn't know the age of something it made. As you pointed out its(bible) been interpreted over thousands of years how can you say the original version was right when you have never seen the original. made in his likeness so we are godlike then huh lol no we godlike becuse we made this "god" in our likeness.

  • @Letitallfuckingburn Who says it's wrong about the age of Earth? Scientists? They are constantly proving themselves wrong. The whole radiocarbon dating ended up proving that the Earth is much younger than they originally thought.

I'm going by what the Bible says when I say we are "made in His likeness". I have no personal resources that God has given me, so I have to go by an ancient book. If you won't consider that, then the point can't be argued.

  • that laugh made me die.

  • fucktarded, new favorite word :)

  • Heh, not believing in God is just the 'in' thing right now.

All the cool kids are doing it.

  • "The world makes a whole lot more sense if god exists"??? Rationality is not only for "the elite" but hey, you do have to think a little!!!

  • coctopus love your series keep it up - long time fan

  • What do you mean:

"When they die and their brain stops functioning" ?

Their cranial appendages are devoid of cerebral matter while living.

You cannot kill a dead horse.

  • That last bit was the best!

  • Noah's Ark story is true. -> We're all inbred.

  • @bgiv2010 Not only that, but Noahs Ark was stolen from the Sumerians. Learned this just recently myself. I believe its on the 7th tablet of the Epic of Gilgamesh.

  • "and Jaeeeeessssuuuussss!"

  • great commentary hilarious.

  • Atheism isn't a fad it's been around since the dawn of speculative human thought. Not every human being was so easily duped into swallowing the religious nonsense of their time. Atheism is much older than religion as a matter of fact!

  • I agree with everything you say, but you gotta stop watching Fox News. They don't call high blood pressure the silent killer for nothing. Also, much like Teletubbies, the target audience is within a different range of analytical ability than you.

  • 90% of Americans believe in God. 10% of Americans are atheists. (That makes 100%!) Really Fox News? I guess there are no agnostics, muslims, budists and so on in America.....

  • @Pirikato94 Muslims also believe in god, and Buddhists aren't forced into one option. Atheism simply means 'Without Theism'. If you aren't a theist, you are an atheist. Agnostics count as Atheists, technically.

  • @Pirikato94 learn to spell, dickhead

  • @Pirikato94 also i believe they did a common thing in marketing, they lumped everyone who believes in a higher power together, so jews, muslims, chirstians, pantheon believers, etc etc.

  • Wow... What Fox did there made as much sense as asking Lary the cable guy (Blue Collar Comedian) about astrophysics and what his opinion is on quantum entanglement.

  • Ask a priest? LOL

  • I seriously hate when theists always say that were the bad ones ones cause were pushing our beliefs hell just the other day my friend called me "a radical atheist" because I told her I was upset that I missed the 2011 american atheist convention. Like Don't ask Don't tell most theist seem to think that we should shut up and let them live there delusional lives -.-

  • soooooo, christians can sell the bible but we can´t sell books about atheism

  • @azur0x Good point

  • @azur0x not just sell but there is a bible in most hotels and motels.

  • Seriously I could come up with better arguments for creationnism and religion than the fucktard zealots.

Oh and I'm an atheist btw.

  • I could not resist the face palm at 4:55...

  • Father Mainstream McGentlevoice had to start of by saying he's not the priest that got arrested as a joke, but given the reasons for priests being arrested lately, you'll excuse me for my lack of chortle, Douche bag. He then claims he bought Books by the four horsemen, but clearly didn't read them. Thanks to the padre's vow of poverty, that means he spent his parishioners money on god is not great, I love it. Now I am laughing.

  • Thank you for posting. All your videos are explosive.

  • I like to credit christians with having at least some common sense. They use it to cherry pick the parts of the bible to ignore.

It is ironic that if they didn't have any common sense or real, evolutionary morality, they would be stoning their children to death for disobeying them and doing all the other crazy shit that christians are supposed to do according to their so-called morals.

  • "craze" LOL

  • Wouldn't this story be "fair and balanced" if it interviewed a believer and a non-believer?

  • @MrWagman11 They'd just get Silverman because he comes of as smug and abrasive.I think it would be a good ratings grabber if they had the God smackdown and got Rick Warren and Fr. Mainstream McGentlevoice here to debate Sam Harris and Michael Shermer. But alas, there would not be enough shouting and talking past one another to ever be aired on Fox.

  • @AdUtrumquePeratus76 Fox News would not dare have Harris and Shermer debate Warren and Fr. McGentlevoice. Harris and Shermer would obliterate and embarrass them.

  • Put it this way:

    Religion= War, death, and hate.

    No religion= Peace on earth.

  • @bren97122 that's not really true... stupid people are always going to find an excuse to hate each other, stupid people tend to be highly religious, so naturally they use religion as a reason to hate one another.

  • LOL, fucking love the commentary, keep it up!

  • lolol, if this priest thinks atheism is a fad due to a book some guy wrote, christianity is the biggest fad on earth then!!! XD

  • LOL LOL LOL LOL

I loved this video so so true.

  • I seriously LOLed at the "hide your babies" comment.

  • @Adv3z Wohoah, nice comeback! You really proved us wrong.

If god could give Jesus the ability to walk on water for no fucking reason, why can't he save the starving children in Africa? Huh?

  • i love you man. no homo.

  • You're hilarious xD

  • Arrogant lying priest! A fuckin hate them.

  • if there was no god how did jesus walk on water? huh?

  • I love you.

  • fucktard Motherfuckers hahahahaha nice vid

  • Its not a fad, its Americans waking up to the fact that they have been fed bullshit for all their lives and see all the hypocrisy and idiocy these republicans and religious people display in general.

  • I worship fox news. I've transformed my toilet into a Shrine. I've convinced myself that my Shit is my soul. I'll spare you the extensive list of details. In short, every morning I surrender my soul unto fox news. My ultimate goal is to see everyone at fox buried and suffocated under a mountain of my excrement. Have a Great Day.

  • @Elvishairdude89

I don't remember "atheist fundamentalists" destroying abortion clinics or pulverizing the Twin Towers. Religious fundamentalists, on the other hand, excel at these.

  • @JonathanTheAlchemist

"With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

    Steven Weinberg,

  • @DreddDwarf

    I love dat quote :)

  • @Elvishairdude89 What other atheists say is not my problem. It's not a church. We all do not believe in god/s, that's it. But you missed my point anyway.

  • Love it! Facts are too difficult for the tiny minds of the religiously obsessed. They believe in Santa Claus and want to force their puerile beliefs onto everyone. They're terrified of Science too. When men like Stephen Hawking come out and states "theology is unnecessary," they go Batshit crazy. religious Kooks are the most emotionally needy, twisted and cowardly dopes alive, they're embarrassing. Thank goodness Our country is based on Secularism, not religious dogma. See ya around Prime ...

  • He is lieing as a PR gimmick.

  • Everything make sense with God no everything make sense with no God.

  • Father Jonathan looks freaking HOT :))

  • "pushing their ideas on the general public" ohhhh you mean like religions?

  • father shitforbrains is right at home as a fox news contributor, i never quite know whether to laugh or cry watching this horseFOXshit

  • You're really funny. Thanks a lot. Tf00t videos are mostly dry.

  • The whole video is a protracted display of the fallacy of argumentum ad populum

  • Well the priest could have been an atheist, or studied us. Most likely it's because fox news wanted someone to build a straw man so they would be able to win. We all know that if someone is successful and is of a religion, then it's god's blessing, if not they had to give up some to satan.

  • I love how a chatholic priest reporting from the Vatican, with all it's power, kardinals and popes, have the stomach to call atheists 'elitist'.

I also love how Fox News declare that writing a book is 'militant'. I suppose then the Bible is militant christianity.

  • 20 PEOPLE DISLIKE his superman poster..

  • You know, you really shouldn't watch fox news, it'll rot your brain.

  • Father Jonathan needs a cream pie...dont cha think?

  • Where's my buck?

  • Father Jonathan should stick to commenting on something he knows a lot about like fondling little boys genitalia and shut up about shit he know nothing about. What a liar and sell out he. I wonder how FOX picked him to be the spokesman for all of catholicism. In Rome they believe in evolution. They have some intelligence at the Vatican. Where did they get this tool?

  • I am in Rome...I am in Rome...

  • I feel sorry for American atheists. Your media is some evil scum shit, or at least fox anyway

  • It is so stupid for a Christian Priest to explain to others what an Atheist is. They are better off finding an actor to pretend being an Atheist and say bad things about it. Like they done before along with Pagans, Wiccans, and Gays. I do believe that is what is called a "False Flag".

  • "We need to keep those scientists within their field." Then, why don't they? These are the people who bring up cosmology when talking to evolutionary biologists. They bring up abiogenesis when talking to specialists in physical cosmology. If they could keep scientists within their field, it would be a hell of a lot easier to hold rational discussions with them.

  • I'd like to ask father Jonathan what it's like being a member of the worlds biggest paedophile ring.

  • "I am in Rome...Uh uh...I am in Rome..." LMAO

  • i love how they call it a "trend", "craze", and a "fad".

  • @C0ct0pusPrime God designed the priest's eye to look lustfully on a ten-year-old boy's backside.

  • "I have a lot of atheist friends." This is the new version of "I have a lot of black friends." right after telling a racist joke.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t i love when people leave comments that ignore the points made in the video and instead try to give my fashion advice or their opinion of my decorating style.

tell me, is there a way i could have decorated that would have made you address the points and not the background?

  • @C0ct0pusPrime sir, never let people like that make you take spiderman down. spiderman will always be relevant. and i have a pulp fiction poster too, that was a great fucking movie. and a guitar? my room sucks. shut the fuck up ph01n1xamb1t.

    on topic though, good video.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime LOL. maybe he was expecting a big crucifix, a pulpit and pornographic stain glass windows.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime LOL. maybe he was expecting a big crucifix, a pulpit and some pornographic stain glass windows in the background.... hold on, I think the last one does not quite belong.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime He believes in god dude... Hes no threat to us...

  • @MrSoAwesomness

    Who believes in God?

  • @MrSoAwesomness

I like the way that you rubbed your 2 brain cells together and came up with the conclusion that I believe in God.

  • @MrSoAwesomness

Also you ugly sandnigger, you are the one with a crucifix around your neck in your profile picture - you little faggot.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t very`old picture...

  • @MrSoAwesomness

    very moronic cunt.

  • @C0ct0pusPrime Dude, thanks for posting this. These people are so stupid, talking about atheism is a fad. Really?, An idealogy that's been around for thousands of years a fad? As u said fucktards!

  • @ph03n1xamb1t

Hoooo boy, watch out, here comes Mr. Mature.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t yup pulp fiction.. your typical 12 year olds favourite movie..

  • @seinfeldsandwhich

Was when I was 12. Still is a great fucking movie.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t LOL Nah you just prolly love 12 year olds..

  • hahahahahahah @ " who the fuck knows its fox news" lol

  • This is almost freaking hilarious...almost. If a couple books nowadays based on logic and reasonable deduction are "fads", what the fuck is the bible?

  • Never ever stop making videos.

    You fucking rock.

I expect videos well into your 80s. You're a beast.

  • The growing number of cognitively skilled, educated people is clearly a trend. This nonsense will soon pass and these lost souls will find that the virtuous ignorance that Christianity offers is far better than being highly educated and intelligent. It is against gods will to question faith.

  • @scotttebben They say it's against gods will to question faith so no one will ever actually think for themselves out of fear of going to hell...

  • @Basch152

    You nailed it.

  • Atheists posturing as intellectuals? Isn't it more that most intellectuals happen to be Atheists? Among academia, especially among the natural sciences, Atheism is widespread.
