they made my ears bleed. in a good way. right up there with the best no doubt. no theyre not anywhere near up there. although tar fragrance for men has a certain panache. take it its yours.
Great band, had their own sound. Saw their first show at Sam's Speakeasy (later to become Beat Kitchen in Chicago) after they dropped the Blatant Dissent tag. Remembered thinking I hadn't heard anything like THIS before. This IS alternative, pre-Nirvana style.
One of my favorite bands ever....drummer dropped a beat once- "once" in a set- I never saw someone so pissed at themselves for the whole rest of the show!! haha! Precision rock, for sure!
tell me about it ....played in a band with Greenlees, before Tar (nee Blatant Dissent, DeKalb IL band--we met in college) ... he used to out all of us between songs for any mistakes. Good solid drummer ... wasnt' a bad roommate either.

Some once well cherished music pales in time. Not Tar. This rocks even more now. Thankyou for upload. Mighty riffs, mighty sound.
