click with your right mouse button on the volume control (or any control you want) and choose automation clip. If you want to make the automation clip for a VST plugin control button, go to your browser (f8) choose current project, choose generators, click on the plugin you want to use and choose a effect. Now click your right mouse button for the automation.

go to the volume control or any effect you want to make the automation clip for and click with your right mouse button and choose 'create automationclip'.

In my vid I used the cutoff of the nexus plugin. In that case you must go to your browser (f8) choose 'current project', choose 'generators', then the plugin of which you want to make the automation for. now you can choose any effect you want by clickin on your right mouse button on the effect and choose 'create automationclip'.

actually, theres a very simple formula you can use for your percussion: if you listen to a lot of trance and techno majority of the drum loops are extremely similar

Kick on beats 1 2 3 and 4

Snare on 2 and 4

A full HiHat on every half note (alternating between the kick)

& then often a softer HiHat running very quickly, on every quarter, which is heard in the background as a constant ticking

And then you can throw a clap or clash on time with the snare when you feel it fits

This is BoOooOOoooring... Sorry to say this, but you need to learn more on how to make Trance. Your VST choice is nice, but the melody isn't well worked enough. And as the others say, work on your beat too, it gives more power to your song. Hope you'll follow those little instructions :)

If it is just for an fl sound or effect, just click with your right mouse button on the effect or volume and choose automation clip.

Hey mate, how do you get a master cutoff automation on nexus. If i right click on mine nothin happens..I just get the wee arrow to move the knob..!!!
