  • Why Taurus....

  • Thank you for your videos. Can you part with what information you found? What did the kool-aid test find for you? Do you measure the expansion? Do you fire through a chronograph? What relation does the water have in comparison to a human body? Thanks again! Great videos!

  • @truegrit379 The kool-aid test is just for comparison with other rounds. If a round does not expand it is evident when shooting the jug. Our newer vids have a ruler for some measurement. At the time of this video we did not have a chronograph, but I just got one so future videos will have chrono info. The human body is composed mainly of water. Generally water expands rounds to their maximum potential. If it will not expand in water chances are it will do poorly in flesh.

  • @truegrit379 All that being said, these videos are not meant to be perfect scientific replications of anything. They are simply for your entertainment.

  • what do you think penetration is with the material of the silver tip vs a brass HP? im thinking walls. do you think this rnd would penetrate more or less being its made out of silver vs copper? if you can message me your response because sometimes i dont get a email to see if you responded :) thanks

  • @benbangui In this case the 'silver' tip is an aluminum alloy with the consistency of a normal copper jacket as far as I can tell. I don't think it would make any difference at all when penetrating wallboard.

  • @andreleger2001 you mean its not real silver?! im such an idiot :) guess it wont work for warewolves...

  • @benbangui Well even though its not real silver, I think they work better than the wooden JHP's for vampires.

  • @benbangui Its actually just an aluminum alloy thats a little softer then copper the marketing is where the name came from.

  • i bought these for my bersa uc 45

  • these rouds produce 500 Fpe out the muzzle on a 40 S&W with very good velocity, i have a couple boxes but i dont carry them, good vid

  • When it took it out of the box he was pointing it at the guy with him without locking the slide back to make sure it was unloaded.

  • It was checked prior to making that segment. At no time did I put my finger on the trigger. A gun will not fire unless you pull the trigger.

  • @andreleger2001 I was taught to treat every gun like it is loaded, and NEVER point it at anybody. Not even when it is unloaded and your finger is off the trigger. That is just common knowledge.

  • ah yes, i keep these in my gun... another mag in a pouch with another mag full of golden sabers. these are real rounds with authority!

  • I've never seen an expansion test like that before. Do you think a more powerful pistol or rifle would go through the bottom?

  • a gun is only as powerful as the round that it fires, you might punch through with a rifle round or a full metal jacket, but you're not going to get through the bottom with a hollow point in any conventional self defense ammunition

  • From what I understand, rifle rounds would disintegrate quicker after hitting the hard water surface actually penetrating less. On our previous tests, we had a couple of the rounds go through the bottom of our trash can (shorter walls). (Only the ones that did not expand though.) All of the rounds that expanded did not get down to the bottom. Some of the bullets in this test set hit the bottom, but none had enough energy left to penetrate the steel floor.
