  • someone knows who is the voice of Minnie Hot-cha?

  • love when the cheif tells them to shut up

  • That Droopy-voiced Indian was very funny.

  • I never get tired of this one! XD

'Happy tax-payers'? Talk about your oxymorons. XD

I wish I could walk on my toes like Heel-Watha. XD

With that ugly mask on Minnie Ha-Cha is more like Minnie *Ouch*-cha! XD

  • racist!!! LOL.

  • "Hello. (sniff)"

  • nosed by chance that the Indian has the voice of droopy?

  • @penguinrobotme Yes, it's the same guy who voiced Droopy, Bill Thompson.

  • Politically incorrect cartoons, who cares? The short literally screws with your mind, and it makes Daffy look complete sane.

  • is that indian guy voiced by the same voice actor for droopy?

  • "Old Faithless. erupts every 15 minutes" sounds like my Ex. Bwa! Ha! Ha!

  • same here buddy, HELLO INDIAN NURSE!!!

  • This is incredible! I love it! No wonder I like conker, he's basically an expy of screwy squirrel!

  • hideous

  • the best

  • Not Screwy Squirrel its Screwball Squirrel

  • It's essentially a remake of "Jeerky Turkey", with the pilgrim recolored as an Indian. I mean, it's not Shakespeare, but it's not bad either....

  • i wish i could find a woman with a body like that irl . . .

  • Heh I love when Chief Rain in the Face first talks--nothing but "ugs" Then there's a sophisticated looking indian translates for him.

  • 6:20 and on is funny lol

  • CHIEF: You done good thing: Save 'em tribe, bring 'em back heap big squirrel burger. Now you win a bride: MINNIE HOT'CHA!!

  • 7:24 *wolf whistle*

  • Wow this is so funny. Gotta love em

  • wow

  • I laugh EVERY time the Chief holds up that "Shut Up" sign. XD

  • that sounded like droopy 0:54

  • Heel-Watha is voiced by Bill Thompson of the Fibber McGee & Molly radio show, and, of course, the voice of Droopy Dog, which was based on the FM&M character Wallace Wimple. Screwy Squirrel was Wally Maher, from the Tommy Riggs & Betty Lou radio show, where he played Betty Lou's boyfriend Wilbur, with the same voice & characteristics as Screwy Squirrel.

  • 3:55 - 4:15 I can never watch this part without lauhging my ass off!

  • lmao @ that golden tooth

  • 2:38 So true!

  • Not only did the voice of Droopy clearly play the main character, but like all Droopy cartoons this includes crying and getting the girl by the end. Heck, he might as well have said, "You know what? That makes me mad."

  • :56 What's this Indian doing with a big ass ding-a-ling on his face...huh?

  • 1:01 - Nice logos ... including that Lockheed one.

  • @HeliosExeunt At the time, Lockheed had started an employee fundraising program (still running) called "Buck Of The Month" - which is the secondary title of this cartoon!

  • can someone tell me what are the last words the narrator exactly screams @ 0:50-0:53 & why does he scream at B.H.W? was he late for the scene or something!

  • @bistiknaw

    From 0:49 -

    Narrator: ...a flat-faced, pigeon-toed, NOT-NEAT, BLUBBER-HEADED TUB OF LARD!!!

Heel-Watha: Hello, all you happy taxpayers.

The narrator was screaming probably because Heel-Watha ruins the oh-so-nice impression that he gave of the scene up till 0:48. It was also meant to be funny.

  • I'm a Native and I dont think of this as rascist. I see this as funny

  • lol the guy sounded like droopy

  • @boyracer19941 it is

  • Screwy had the golden tooth look before they were popular.

  • One of Tex's zaniest cartoons. So much to comment on, so little time and space. Thanks for uploading!

  • Is the title Big Heel-Watha a play off of the 1936 Silly Synphnies cartoon Little Hiawatha?

  • ye, they just don't make em like they used to.

This was probably the funniest cartoon ever made

  • was Screwy Squirrel telling him to be happy?.

  • any one know if these are out on dvd or anything?

  • I had an old VHS tape with 101 dalmatians, and all these came after it, but that's VHS not dvd

  • "Hello, all you happy tax-payers."

  • Good ol' politically incorrect cartoons. You don't get cartoons like these anymore.

  • I'm so mad I could scream! And I will, too! weee! There!

  • AHH when cartoons were nice and rascist!!! LOL

  • @sanchosway What the hell is so racist? There is nothing racist about this cartoon.. The only thing racist here are your dimwitted accusations!

  • @sanchosway Oh come on, I'm native american and I thought it was hilarious, I don't get offended by things like this.

  • to you, everything is related to political correctness. first criteria to judge a thing. you forgot humour, goodness and God. You cry racist, but go around the world for petrol..pretending they are terrorists (after doing the same with american indians for lands). "control population growth" by killing babies in their mothers. and wash their brains out, so that they don't realise it. Bogdan

  • Though I've never heard it myself, what is it with the old stereotype of Native Americans saying 'how' for hello and 'ugh' (whatever that's supposed to mean). I don't get it.

  • It's thanks largely to the old Lone Ranger serials. Much like how "pirate-speak" is a product of Hollywood as well.

  • MINNIE HOT CHA FONE # HO! -43211

  • She is quite a ho, kissing a squirrel like that.

  • haha

  • i like the part where he calls the squirrel mean and starts crying lol

  • Love the 'sissy" scream! he got a new"do."

  • all jump in to the pot

  • This probably really pisses off Native Americans, but I love anything with Bill Thompson.

  • The music where the chief comes out with the rain on his face, the music sounds like "Singing in the Rain".

  • I actually saw this on the acme hour in 2002

  • Cartoon Network, I think, banned this

  • The cheif doesn't even know what his daughter looks like???? ROFL 6:50

And she doesn't know what she looks like???? LMAO 7:08

  • 4:48 ROFL!

  • This one is one of my favorites: Screwy Squirrel, a Native American with Droopy's voice, all the usual toony gags, and WWII gag references. I actually have this one on tape (along with "Happy-Go-Nutty" and "Screwball Squirrel").

  • lol

ANYBODY KNOW WHICH CARTOON CARACTER DOES THE HA CHA CHA CHA LIKE JIMMY DURANTE??

  • Both the vulture ("What's Buzzin Buzzard") and the turkey ("Jerky Turkey").

  • Screwy: Hey buddy you got a match?

Heel-Watha: why yes *lights match* here you are

    Screwy: PUT OOOOUT THAT LIIIIIGHT!

XD classic part I also love Screwy's laugh and the 'hello *sniff*'

  • 4:27 Now that what I call "Egg all over your face!"

  • hubba hubba minna hota

  • A flat-face, pigeon-toed, knot-kneed, blubber-headed TUB OF LARD!!!

  • Looks almost exactly like the Pilgrim in "Jerky Turkey."

  • omg the Indian is Droopy!!

  • is it me or does his voice also sound like the guy who played Mr. Smee from Peter Pan (Disney?) ? He is Droopy. :)

  • Yes he did among many other disney characters in the movies, Jock and Joe in Lady And The Tramp, One of the Kings in Sleeping Beauty and many others. And he did voice Droopy. His name was Bill Thompson.

  • The voice of the Indian is the voice of Droopy.

  • LOL any coincidence that "ho" was in the phone number?

Meh, it doesn't matter. Tex Avery is the cartoon king.

  • I like how Tex made "Red Hot Riding Hood" into one heap, hot squaw for this one.

  • HO!!!!!! lol

  • 4:58 little Donald Duck quote

  • I LOVE Screwy's laugh and when he says "Hello! *sniff*" XD classic.

  • "Gitcheegume"? This was always one of my favorites, Screwball Squirrel and a guy with Droopy's voice (and Jimmy Durante's nose)! And check out the ironic gag at the ending!

  • i'm so mad, i'm gonna scream! whee. Hard water, LOL!!

  • hey i remember can you add cartoon what's buzzin' buzzard

  • thank you, can you please add cartoons when tex avery has worked for Warner Bros
