I love Chinese food and i try to eat it with chopsticks.With most of the stuff i don't have a problem but how do you eat rice with chopsticks?:D

Eating with chopsticks is waaaaaay healthier than with forks/spoon because it gives you the habit of eating the food in small bits. That way your intake is way more stable and your digestion is more proper. Also, you have more time to properly chew the smaller bits of food. Helpful vid. :)

This explanation kinda makes it so much more difficult then what it needs to be. But then again my dads side of the family is Japanese so Ive been eatting with Chopsticks since I was a kid. Its like anything else, gotta constantly practice and once you have it down, its hella easy. They also make beginners Chopsticks which are tied together to make learning much easier. First time Ive actually seen the 3 finger method before lol

@zao144 Unless it's sticky rice, you don't pick it up with the chopsticks. Put your mouth at the edge of the bowl, tip back the bowl, and use the chopsticks to push the rice to your mouth.

Now, if you put the rice on your dinner plate, you're on your own. lol xD

There is no Right way... You can hold your chopsticks however you like. Its just common for people to hold it that way.

the damn lower stick slides in my 3rd finger, i found a different way to use them, 2 fingers around the top of the 1st stick (not much) then the 3rd finger in the middle of the 2nd lower stick then you move the 2 top fingers together to close and open, very easy.

make sure you grab slightly above the middle of the sticks not way above or below or middle.
