  • a great song, an album of dubious quality, cranked out amidst a frenetic period of Elton in the seventies, nonetheless a song that's overlooked

  • @bearyguy1 Couldn't agree more!

  • TANGO

  • A very underated album this, I wore it out when it first came out!

The rocking piano is incredible.... the whole group, with the addition of the Tower of Power Horns is Brilliant!

I love elton when he rocks the house!

  • Great memories from a Master... brilliant memories of long motorway trips listening to this fantastic music.

This, and Pink Floyd kept me sane!

  • i played it so loud i blew my woofers and wet my pants!

  • Davey Johnstone is R&Rs most underated guitarist.

  • Bernie Taupin was really into hookers.

  • yea!

  • The trumpets at the end are killer!

Tower of Power -- funny how that name came back all of a sudden with Victor Conte and BALCO.

  • What a good song, and with the Tower of Power horn section, makes me wanna dance right on the spot!

  • One of his rockier songs. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He does a great version of this live on the 1995 reissue of "Here And There". I think it's on the same disc as the John Lennon performance.

  • The musical arrangement/composition is genius.

  • HEE HEE @ 09 2AC this rocks so bad and so did the times I had my first experience of the naughty kind bumpin to the beat...and people were still asking the question, "Do you think Elton might be gay,LOL.. Cheers and Long Live Z.J.Levon!!!

  • I loved this album (then again my 1970s teenage mission was to grab up every EJ LP upon release and wear them out!)

I can't believe I still remember this having not heard it in over 30 years! Thanks for posting :)

  • " I can still her laughing as I spun around and hit the bed"!!! OH, hells ya, The late '70s and Sir E. and party down disco time too. This number kinda reminds me of his seldom heard song called "Just Like Belgium" on the Fox album of 1981, Benny Hill was still making me laugh so hard and often that I needed the new Adult Diapers that just hit the market. OO and the Tower of Power was not just anyone's ordinary horn group either!!! They Rocked The House! Stephen/

  • This is my favourite song from the Caribou album/cd.

  • I haven't heard this in over 30 years! Classic album. Does anybody else have the 8-Track?

  • @americangalbasseyfan yep I had the 8 track but like all 8 tracks after a while we had to stuff match packets etc. in the corner of the player to keep it from sounding like a warped/melted vinyl...aaaargh 8 tracks!! like communism, great in theory but...aaargh XD

  • Great Song!!

The Tower Of Power Horn Section REALLY brought it home.

  • Excellent Album.

  • I blew my Dad's speakers listening to this song back in grade 9.... the leather lunged Tower of Power horn section...WOW.. well worth the shit I got for cranking it +10 !!!

  • Flashback City!!! I had the 8track...album...and cassette on this classic gem...GREAT upload!!!

    Thank you for sharing...stay gold

  • Thanks for putting these up.. :)

  • Thanks for putting on all the elton john albums! It's getting harder and harder to find these!

  • @AndrewZettel Virtually all his CDs can be found on Amazon.
