@alrightgarylad Yes I did (I had to, the car was running in limp mode and SLOW!) First, make sure that the throttle cable that connects to the throttle body has some slack, if it's too tight, the ecu thinks you have your foot on the throttle when the test starts; failing the test..
If that doesn't work, you will probably need to get a new throttle body.. :( (I had to do this)
@WTStudios Hey I fixed mine! When i cleaned my throttle body i must have pulled the flap too hard and adjusted it by mistake. To correct it i put a screwdriver over the flap while it was closed and tapped it gently with my hand. It works and is now able to calabirate. Hope this helps people!
have you tried just putting your accelerator to the floor hard and then pressing the footbrake down so that the engine cuts down to tickover that sometimes re-sets them . btw is that the b5 like the vw passat
