Nice singing by both of you,  but sorry to say one thing that the female is singing though very good should not mimic Shamshad Brgam rather should sing in her own voice. That would have been much much better.

Thanks for complementing their singing and i don't think Vibhavari was bad at singing Shamshadji and she did not mimic (this is rather a harsh word!)but tried to modulate her voice.I appreciate your views though and you will also accept my views.

My intent was for Vibhavari's benefit only. She does a wonderful job naturally with Lataji and Ashaji. Noor Jehan and Shamshad is not her genre. The other artist in your group, I forget her name, for instance can sing Shamshad fairly well.

Please keep up the good work of reviving the old gems. That is the only music that has survived for the past 60 years, and will continue to survive as long as therre are Vibhavaris and Hirenbhais in the world. God bless!

This song is my favourite song as I like very few songs of Kishore Kumar.. and it has been sung by Anand for Kishore very well... Vibhavari is an excellent singer.. and as others pointed out she should not try to emulate Shamshad Begum etc. . yet the duet sung by the duo is enjoyable... thanks Hiren ji for sharing... you are lucky always immersed in divine music...

Regarding singing for other singers by Vibhavari,i am surprised as she being a professional singer she has to oblige and sing for singers other than Lataji and Ashaji.In such show there can not be singers for each of the singers! Though i understand that she is at her best singing Lataji and likes.I am sure viewers will gradually accept this too!

This is a very melodious composition of O.P.Nayyar, very different from his usual scores. This duet is my personal favorite too. Vibhavari and Anand both are too good singers and when it is a duet in voices of Kishore and Shamshad, they are at their best and it becomes difficult to differentiate between the original and their performance. atlast you turned your eyes from lata to other singers. perhaps first number is of Shamshad begum. shamshad voice was unique. take her any song, listen carefully and you will observe her songs, hits directly to heart. and this quality of singing. anyhow mr anand on his part sang very beautiful whille vibhavri attempted to sing in her style. i would say try and try again. as a whole both sang marvelously.

Vibhavari should refrain from copying styles of singers that are not in her genre. Shamshad begum, Noor jehan etc. Iwhen she sings their songs, it would be much better if she sings them in her own natural voice. Thanks.
