The first song should have been called "Clockwork Strokes". Clockwork is obvious in the song, and you stroke the keys when you play a beautiful song on the piano, just like those beautiful combos. The abstracticity in the combos was just like clockwork, KA-M's pretty smart to find a way to chaingrab Fox.

You button mash B while doing Luigi's down+B. There are two major rules to it:

1) To do it perfectly, you have to do it 16 (?) times per second. (Ka-Master must have crazy thumbs.)

2) You can only do it every other time, so after you use it to recover, just use it again to "recharge" it.

It's not sped up.

He is doing a wavedash: airdodging into the ground at an angle immediately after a jump. A good wavedash (such as in the video) will seem as though he is not leaving the ground at all.

the numbers at the bottom of the screen, thats why sheiko. Often I'll see 1pv4p and 2pv3pv. People do that because they like where those damage meters are and is easier not to get them mixed with another player's if they decide to take a quick glance at it.

Yeah, it's some rediculous hitbox right near his hip or something. Usually you'll get it more often on reverse d-airs and d-airs that you do when you're below the opponent than anything else.

At 3:35 against Falco, Falco uses Phantom to try to recover using and Ka-Master does a quick Side-Tilt, causing Falco to fall down. Falco then uses Burning Fox to recover, and Ka-Master unleashes a killer Spike. That was ownage~ =)

That's called "wavedashing"; unless you've browsed around Gamefaqs or Smashboards, you probably haven't heard of it before. It's basically jumping and then airdodging diagonally into the ground right after you leave it. If you do it properly it looks like a slide.

Wavedashing is just jumping then airdodging diagonally into the ground as soon as you leave it; it's difficult to get used to at first. Watch Wak's AHTP video 1 if you need tips on how to practice it.

Luigi's Cyclone will only boost you up every other time, so when you're "charging it up", you're merely using it once so that the next time you use it you'll go up into the air. When you CAN go up in the air, you have to press B 12 times per second for the maximum boost.

The tier list is based on tournament statistics; since people who play as Luigi don't win that often, he's lower on the list. Also, Luigi gets owned by shinespikes, and if he gets hit by a shine he can't counter-attack, even if he crouch-cancels it.

You have a fair point; Luigi is very difficult to combo due to his traction, and he has some of the best aerials in the game. However, I think he's not higher than he is now because 1) his recovery is unreliable without the tornado, 2) his projectile isn't as abusable as others, and 3) he is simply too hard to learn. Fox is top tier because any noob can use him by spamming his USmash.

Wavedashing and smashing at the same time requires that either you use the C-stick or just do a smash attack as soon as you start to wavedash with the control stick. Personally, I prefer the control stick; I use the C-stick very infrequently. The down+B float will only work once every other time; keep pressing down+B when on the ground to see if it will float, and if it doesn't, then keep a mental note that the next time you do it you'll float.

Also, something that I've noticed about Ka-Master is that he rarely using his run at all... It's always a wavedash or a cyclone... Although I've seen him use pivots for those edge-hogs, which I found rather impressive... O_o;

There was an article saying that the Gamecube controller will be used for SSBB, or something like that. There have already been topics in smashboards about leaving in wavedashing for SSBB, and most of the people want it in. Since Nintendo is unusally asking for the public's opinion, they'll probably look at smashboards and leave it in.

Yeah they announced that SSBB can only be played with the Gamecube style controller they make. They say you can also use the Gamecube controller so if you buy a Wii, you might wanna save those Gamecube controllers.
