this whole thing is just palin wrong, a steven king horror novella on acid, creepy.florence should be singing old torch songs or hymns in the mormon tabrenacle chior
The song is directed and sung completely wrong, but it does make me wonder whether Florence could have made a damn good Desiree at some point. This was whitewashed beyond belief so that any and all irony was steamed out of it. But we know what she was capable of. I think she could have done the role beautifully.
Florence Henderson apparently thinks she can sing well but she sounds like crap. Plus the Brady kids make really creepy clowns. This makes me want to barf.
To say that Florence Henderson "thinks she can sing well" & that she "sounds like crap" only makes you sound like an incredible idiot. Granted, this is not my favorite version of these songs (& didn't watch the clown stuff--oy), but F. H. was and is a magnificent singer. Listen to the ocr of FANNY--gorgeous.
@AvalonMorley I stand by my statement, AvalonMorley. When you say Florence is "a magnificent singer" this only makes you look like a magnificent idiot!
I wonder if, when singing "Isn't it rich? / Isn't it queer, / Losing my timing this late / In my career?" Florence Henderson understood the cruel implicit irony.
Wow! What an....interesting interpretation of the song. LOL! I'm strangely fascinated and horrified. Florence has got a terrific voice, though!

The clowns are RIGHT THERE, Florence. They're on stage with you!

Well, they clearly don't get the point of the song.

This is...really surprisingly a good version of the song, despite the terrifying clown motif.
