@drdst17 Revelation 17:4 She is arrayed in Scarlet and purple. She is decked with gold, precious stones and pearls. She has a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness. From the bishops to the pope they are dressed in Scarlet and purple! Gold everywhere in the church, some of the popes vestments have precious stones and pearls. Just look at the silly crown he wears!! And you have the nerve to call me close minded?! I speak the truth from the word of God! Try doing the same!
@Letmehelpsaveyou wow man, I am Catholic or WAS I should say now. I didn't even realize all the red and purple and gold. But after reading revelation 17:4 for myself and then going to mass afterwards. I feel like my eyes have been opened and I felt like I was among a bunch of wolves in sheep clothing! @drdst17 And lets not forget the shiny Golden cup you always see in the popes or priest's hands all the time. Like how revelations 17:4 describes, she has a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness. Whatever you have to say, say it. You can have the last word for all I care. I said all I needed to say, if you wanna keep your heart hardened to the truth and continue to embrace man made scriptures, then by all means it's your salvation not mine that is in jeopardy.
@Letmehelpsaveyou You are cherry-picking again. Mediator and Intercessor are NOT the same thing, no matter which definition you wish to use. Anybody can use any term to mean ANYTHING they want it to mean - your definition is not the same as the Catholic one. And again, you mis-interpret Scripture. The Catholic Church is not what is spoken of in Rev 17:4. The Catholic Church is OLDER than the actual Scripture verse, therefore it cannot be the same.
@drdst17 How is that not the same thing? Who are u to say the DICTIONARY IS WRONG? Oh the church musta wrote the dictionary too right? Answer me this and don't DODGE IT. How could the Church have wrtten the bible when it is littered with contradictions to the Catholic practices? @Letmehelpsaveyou Lie after lie after lie. The dictionary is NOT the final authority on what I or other Catholics believe - who wrote that dictionary and why should I believe that it has the authority over Catholic doctrine?
And I won't dodge your question. The Bible is NOT littered with contradictions to Catholic doctrines - only those you have made to seem like a contradiction. With a little bit of research and clarity, everything the Church preaches IS biblical.
@drdst17 I've been watching you guys go back and forth and all the while I was cheering for you cuz I was a catholic as well. But not once have you really made a solid point or fact. Everything you said seems to be coming from an unknown source. I'm guessing it's from your own lips. He's quoted scripture after scripture and you say our church wrote the bible? By the quotes he quoted, I'm seriously doubting that. I'm going to a protestant church from now on. Amen!
@JusanothaUtuba I seriously doubt you were ever Catholic. And just because someone quotes Scripture, doesn't mean that they are right. And just because someone doesn't quote Scripture in a youtube video, doesn't mean they are wrong. If you want a quote from Scripture, here you go. John 6: If you don't eat of my flesh and drink of my blood, then you have no life within you. If that doesn't validate the Eucharist, then nothing does.
@JusanothaUtuba it truly is sad that you think because someone quotes scripture then that person must be correct, how then do you explain the contradictory interpretations of scripture by Protestants. How come YOU who claimed to be Catholic don't know what it is your Church teaches, or where it is found in the Bible? Learn your Catholic faith first and then decide if it's wrong.
@JusanothaUtuba visit scripturecatholic and tell me if Catholicism isn't biblical, scripturecatholic is a website but youtube won't let me post the url so just type it in ur browser in web format.
@drdst17 You say, "The church has authority - your interpretations of Scripture have NONE." Well, 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." Therefore, my interpretations of the scripture has much more authority then your words. For I quote the word of god not MEN.
@Letmehelpsaveyou How do you know what is scripture? What Paul speaking of the book of 2 Timothy as he was writing it or was he ONLY speaking of the Old Testament? If only OT then how did we come to know that 2 Timothy was scripture? Was 2 Timothy scripture at the moment it was being written? Did the early christians use that letter as scripture?
@drdst17 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Timothy 2:5 ) You accuse me of falsehood is to accuse the word of God as false. Because I only have been quoting you out of the word of God. You on the other hand come from man made traditions. 53 hail marys on your rosary compared to JUST 6 our father prayers?? That's ridiculous! Read matthew 6:7. Jesus says do not babble on like pagans when you pray! Saying 53 hail marys is babbling you fool!
@Letmehelpsaveyou You have no clue. Mediator and Intercessor are TWO distinct terms. Only Christ mediates for us - the others INTERCEDE for us on our behalf to our Lord. Again, you pervert Scripture to serve YOUR ends. Typical Protestant.
@drdst17 I pervert scripture??? Oh what a hypocrite you catholics are! Not only do you pervert scripture but you subtract from the word of God. 2nd commandent states do not practice idolatry which your religion so conveniently took out of your bible. Because why? You practice idolatry. There are even pictures to prove it. So many pics you can find of catholic ppl bowing down in an act of worship to STATUES of saints.
@drdst17 Intercede : 1. (often foll by in) to come between parties or act as mediator or advocate to intercede in the strike
2. (Historical Terms) Roman history (of a tribune or other magistrate) to interpose a veto.
You say mediator and intercessor are two distinct terms?? When it actually means the same!! I pervert scripture to serve my ends? Bah, look who perverts it, you! You hypocrite! The lord doesn't not need ANYONE to mediate/interced on his behalf. Satan has you blinded big time.
@Letmehelpsaveyou in Revelations 5:8 we see the saints in heaven offering the prayers of the faithful on earth to God. Yes that's right Revelations shows us what's going on in heaven. How then could the saints be offering the prayers of the faithful if they aren't supposed to receive those prayers in the first place? Or is the Bible wrong?
@Letmehelpsaveyou But that's not all you completely missed what Paul said before verse 5 didn't you? 1 Timothy 2:1-3 Paul urges supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people. Paul is thus appealing for mediation from others besides Christ, the one mediator. Why? Honey there are plenty more scriptural passages that you are missing, I converted to the Catholic faith and I will show you biblical proof of catholic teaching.
@drdst17 You catholics are required to keep the seven Sacraments to go to Heaven. These Sacraments include being confirmed by the PRIEST. Regular confession to the PRIEST. Regular observance of the Holy Eucharist with the PRIEST, last rites by the PRIEST, etc. The Catholic means of salvation; therefore, weighs heavily upon the Catholic PRIEST. I have not seen one mention of Jesus in that equation. John 14:6 sums it up!
@Letmehelpsaveyou You completely misinterpret John 14:6, but that doesn't surprise me. The priesthood acts in SERVICE of Jesus, as they have ALWAYS done over the last 2000 years of Christian history. The Bishops (and priests) are successors to the Apostles, and gain their authority from them. Jesus gave all authority to the Apostles, who in turn gave it to their Bishops, then to their priests. Again, it's not hard to understand. Jesus made it so.
@Letmehelpsaveyou let me take each one by one starting with confirmation. Precisely what is wrong with being confirmed by the PRIEST? Did Jesus not have Presbyters? Do you know that Presbyter is another word for Priest? Guess who were presbyters, that's right the APOSTLES, so there the apostles were priests, and what did the apostles do? Comon you know the answer. That's right THEY LAID HANDS ON THE PEOPLE, guess what confirmation is?
@Letmehelpsaveyou Now on to confession I will direct you to John 20:21-23 (I take it you have no problems with the kjv), 21Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
@Letmehelpsaveyou confession continued. Now John 20:21-23 in the NIV: 21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Wait a minute, did Jesus just give the apostles the power to forgive and not forgive sins? How would they do that?
@Letmehelpsaveyou 1 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” 3 At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!” 4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?
@Letmehelpsaveyou 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.
@Letmehelpsaveyou In Matthew we see that Christ told the pharisees that the power to forgive has been given to Son of MAN, hence it was given to men. Remember the pharisees never believed Jesus was God, so they didn't understand how a man could grant forgiveness so Jesus goes ahead and tells them that yes it is possible, and so now we know that it is possible for mortal man to forgive sins, and we now know with John 20 that those men are Priests.
@Letmehelpsaveyou How do we know that the Priests today have this power that the apostles do? Through apostolic succession, how do we know that this is real? Let's go to the Bible: In the book of Acts we see the first apostolic succession take place with the replacement of Judas with Matthias and what did they do? They laid hands on him and yes ORDAINED him to the office that Judas held, that's why the Priesthood is an Office. Let's continue
@Letmehelpsaveyou b4 choosing Matthias let's see what they said "23 So they nominated two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. 24 Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen 25 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.” 26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.
@Letmehelpsaveyou notice in verse 25 that they speak of someone to TAKE OVER APOSTOLIC MINISTRY, therefore proving apostolic succession. So yes we know that the priests are direct successors from the apostles. 2 Timothy 2:2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. So we see here that there are those who are supposed to be succeed the apostles.
@Letmehelpsaveyou Now on to the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is CHRIST HIMSELF PRESENT. It is the Body, blood, soul and divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ. How can we have Him like this? Well because he tells us that without EATING HIS FLESH AND DRINKING HIS BLOOD we would have no life. Let's look at the whole discourse in John 6.
@Letmehelpsaveyou John 6: 30 So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’[c]”
@Letmehelpsaveyou 32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”
@Letmehelpsaveyou 35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Did Jesus just call himself bread? Yes that's right he did, and he said He is the bread from heaven, and guess what he told us to do with that bread? Yes eat. 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die.
@Letmehelpsaveyou But what is that bread? 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” WOW that's right the BREAD IS JESUS' FLESH. Imagine that, no symbol of flesh written here, just simply flesh. And then they doubted that it's possible just as you doubt and what does he do? He confirms it again.
@Letmehelpsaveyou 3 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. WHOA HE SAYS IT'S HIS FLESH AGAIN.
@Letmehelpsaveyou and then what do doubters do? they say the teaching is too hard to accept and they walk away. What did Christ do? He allowed them to leave. They knew he literally meant his flesh and did he try to explain it to them that he meant it symbolically? Nope he simply allowed them to walk away bcus what he really meant was his flesh.
@Letmehelpsaveyou and then ofcourse we go to the Last Supper: Matt 26: 26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[b] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
@Letmehelpsaveyou So here we see that Jesus tells us that it IS His body and His blood. He doesn't say it's a symbol of body and blood, but IS His body and blood. There should be no doubt that we are supposed to literally eat His flesh and blood. As for it being done by the Priest I already went over the Priest issue and Christ did tell the Priest, His apostles, to do it in remembrance of him, and we already went over apostolic succession right?
@Letmehelpsaveyou Well in case you're still in doubt, let's see what St. Paul tells us. 1 Cor 10: 16 Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? 17 Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf. Paul affirms blood and body of Christ NOT symbol of blood and body of Christ.
@Letmehelpsaveyou 1 Cor 11: 3 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
@Letmehelpsaveyou 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
@Letmehelpsaveyou How can we be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord, if it's only a symbol? Notice that Paul didn't say sinning against the symbol of the body and blood of the Lord.
On the Priest, darling if I were to start your head would spin for I would have to go and start from the OT to show you why Israel is Israel in the first place. I have to retire to my bed now, I will return.
Our Lady has given the world the Rosary of the Unborn as a means to end abortion through prayer on the beads that She designed, She gave a promise to save a life for each Hail Mary said from a loving heart on these beads. Please see a short video-presentation of the Rosary of the Unborn on my channel, and respond to Our Lady's call!
@catholicexodus You are a heretic and have NO AUTHORITY to define what you do. Only the Holy Catholic Church has such authority as given to it from Christ Himself in Matthew 16:18.
May Our Lord Jesus Christ free you from the deficiencies you suffer under. God Bless.
@drdst17 you are a liar! No where in that verse does it refer to or even hint that Jesus is calling his church the catholic church! From which he buildeth his foundation on Peter. Not one word or the description of the Catholic Church. Show me a verse where it is said to Pray the rosary or to do 53 hail marys over JUST SIX our father prayers!! No where, No where, No where!! But I will show you verse after verse where it contradicts praying to anyone but God or Jesus!!! AMEN.
@Letmehelpsaveyou You are a foolish person. You worship your own flawed interpretations of a Catholic Document created by the Church for all Christians. Your ego is keeping you from the fullness of Truth and Grace. The Church was created by Jesus, not the Bible. The Church has authority over the Bible because it is the Church who wrote it - from Sacred TRADITION.
When you submit to Christ, instead of JUDGING Him with your own interpretations, you'll realize this.
You do realize that all these suppsoed promises or 'our lady' stand the clear teaching of scripture completely on its head, don't you? I receommend you fall on your face before God in repentance. The Bible is quite clear: repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21). You are in utter idolatry and heresy. Repent today and receive Christ!
Out of 53 "hail marys"... I will love to say HAIL JESUS all 53+ times...... I love Mary the Mother of Jesus(Yeshua)..... & I know Mary wouldnot Mind if i did this change in Rosary.... Let me say " HAIL JESUS.. FULL OF GRACE.... THANK YOU FOR SHEDDING YOUR BLOOD UPON THE CROSS.. & THANK YOU FOR BLESSING THE HUMANITY WITH YOUR AMAZING GRACE... JESUS REMEMBER ME AT THY SECOND COMING & HELP ME TO BECOME YOUR CHILD ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE." HALLELU-YAH.

@Letmehelpsaveyou You have no clue. Mediator and Intercessor are TWO distinct terms. Only Christ mediates for us - the others INTERCEDE for us on our behalf to our Lord. Again, you pervert Scripture to serve YOUR ends. Typical Protestant.
drdst17 2 months ago
@drdst17 I pervert scripture??? Oh what a hypocrite you catholics are! Not only do you pervert scripture but you subtract from the word of God. 2nd commandent states do not practice idolatry which your religion so conveniently took out of your bible. Because why? You practice idolatry. There are even pictures to prove it. So many pics you can find of catholic ppl bowing down in an act of worship to STATUES of saints.
Letmehelpsaveyou 2 months ago 2

ESEME11 2 months ago

Letmehelpsaveyou 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou You completely misinterpret John 14:6, but that doesn't surprise me. The priesthood acts in SERVICE of Jesus, as they have ALWAYS done over the last 2000 years of Christian history. The Bishops (and priests) are successors to the Apostles, and gain their authority from them. Jesus gave all authority to the Apostles, who in turn gave it to their Bishops, then to their priests. Again, it's not hard to understand. Jesus made it so.
drdst17 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou let me take each one by one starting with confirmation. Precisely what is wrong with being confirmed by the PRIEST? Did Jesus not have Presbyters? Do you know that Presbyter is another word for Priest? Guess who were presbyters, that's right the APOSTLES, so there the apostles were priests, and what did the apostles do? Comon you know the answer. That's right THEY LAID HANDS ON THE PEOPLE, guess what confirmation is?
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou Now on to confession I will direct you to John 20:21-23 (I take it you have no problems with the kjv), 21Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou confession continued. Now John 20:21-23 in the NIV: 21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Wait a minute, did Jesus just give the apostles the power to forgive and not forgive sins? How would they do that?
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou yes that's right they will forgive sins by hearing confessions. But if that's not enough for you let's go to Matthew 9
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou 1 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” 3 At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!” 4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou In Matthew we see that Christ told the pharisees that the power to forgive has been given to Son of MAN, hence it was given to men. Remember the pharisees never believed Jesus was God, so they didn't understand how a man could grant forgiveness so Jesus goes ahead and tells them that yes it is possible, and so now we know that it is possible for mortal man to forgive sins, and we now know with John 20 that those men are Priests.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou How do we know that the Priests today have this power that the apostles do? Through apostolic succession, how do we know that this is real? Let's go to the Bible: In the book of Acts we see the first apostolic succession take place with the replacement of Judas with Matthias and what did they do? They laid hands on him and yes ORDAINED him to the office that Judas held, that's why the Priesthood is an Office. Let's continue
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou b4 choosing Matthias let's see what they said "23 So they nominated two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. 24 Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen 25 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.” 26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou notice in verse 25 that they speak of someone to TAKE OVER APOSTOLIC MINISTRY, therefore proving apostolic succession. So yes we know that the priests are direct successors from the apostles. 2 Timothy 2:2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. So we see here that there are those who are supposed to be succeed the apostles.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou Now on to the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is CHRIST HIMSELF PRESENT. It is the Body, blood, soul and divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ. How can we have Him like this? Well because he tells us that without EATING HIS FLESH AND DRINKING HIS BLOOD we would have no life. Let's look at the whole discourse in John 6.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou John 6: 30 So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’[c]”
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou 32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou 35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Did Jesus just call himself bread? Yes that's right he did, and he said He is the bread from heaven, and guess what he told us to do with that bread? Yes eat. 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou But what is that bread? 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” WOW that's right the BREAD IS JESUS' FLESH. Imagine that, no symbol of flesh written here, just simply flesh. And then they doubted that it's possible just as you doubt and what does he do? He confirms it again.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou 3 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. WHOA HE SAYS IT'S HIS FLESH AGAIN.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou and then what do doubters do? they say the teaching is too hard to accept and they walk away. What did Christ do? He allowed them to leave. They knew he literally meant his flesh and did he try to explain it to them that he meant it symbolically? Nope he simply allowed them to walk away bcus what he really meant was his flesh.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou and then ofcourse we go to the Last Supper: Matt 26: 26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[b] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou So here we see that Jesus tells us that it IS His body and His blood. He doesn't say it's a symbol of body and blood, but IS His body and blood. There should be no doubt that we are supposed to literally eat His flesh and blood. As for it being done by the Priest I already went over the Priest issue and Christ did tell the Priest, His apostles, to do it in remembrance of him, and we already went over apostolic succession right?
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou Well in case you're still in doubt, let's see what St. Paul tells us. 1 Cor 10: 16 Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? 17 Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf. Paul affirms blood and body of Christ NOT symbol of blood and body of Christ.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou 1 Cor 11: 3 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
ESEME11 2 months ago
@Letmehelpsaveyou How can we be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord, if it's only a symbol? Notice that Paul didn't say sinning against the symbol of the body and blood of the Lord.
On the Priest, darling if I were to start your head would spin for I would have to go and start from the OT to show you why Israel is Israel in the first place. I have to retire to my bed now, I will return.

When you submit to Christ, instead of JUDGING Him with your own interpretations, you'll realize this.
drdst17 2 months ago
You do realize that all these suppsoed promises or 'our lady' stand the clear teaching of scripture completely on its head, don't you? I receommend you fall on your face before God in repentance. The Bible is quite clear: repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21). You are in utter idolatry and heresy. Repent today and receive Christ!
