American democracy won't work in every country. It could cause disasters. China needs to develop a democracy system that fits itself. And Chinese ppl must be PATIENT. Dramatic political change causes social chaos.Fortunately,CCP has quietly started its reform. ppl are having more freedom and lower level officials have to be elected.All are good signs.

The so called democracy is a cost-effective anti-China tool used by western world to intervene other countries. Look at South America and Africa, they are democracies, but they are all in chaos too. In the 90's, Russia adopted US democracy but its GDP suffered a 30% recession. oh, did I mention the invasion of Iraq, in the name of freedom?

these protesting arsss holes had a white master before 1997 and they never complained. He couldn't vote whatsoever but they didn't protest...Now they are having more freedom than ever; they are governed by pure blooded Honhkong Chinese; they are having a more prosperous economy....but they started protesting!
