The U.S. is not legally required to issue or extend a single H-1B visa. The USCIS states that H-1B visas are a 3 year visa (total stay limited to 6 years) for temporary, nonimmigrant workers. These workers are to fill specialty positions when this talent cannot be secured from the local labor pool. Employers are not required to advertise the positions and are given a legal means to discriminate against U.S. workers. Right now, we should not issue and not renew another H-1B visa.

I have a question for India: where are all the millions of jobs that you promised to create since 1998?
Does everyone here know the average Indian H-1B working in the USA sends $100,000 out of the U.S. over 6 years? That's the real reason for the capital crisis!

Here's the truth - the H1B Visa system is a complete sham because the visas are being used to fill entry-level Bachelor jobs and as a result internationals are coming and taking our entry level jobs that that American college grads are getting shut out of. I know this because I work in Human Resources.
