  • Love when the drums come in :)

  • Someone please tell me, why does anything in 8 bit or been moded to an 8 bit sound sound so freaking good?

  • @DarkMarron67 Because NES kicks ass?

  • Dire Dire Docks is my favorite video game music ever and brings back so many great memories of that game!

  • This does sound 8-bit, and I highly doubt that it was GXSCC'd. Awesome job!

  • @SuperBuffalo007 YAY BRONIES!!! :D

  • @ROBLOXChris /)

  • Dire Dire Docks is my favourite song, but in 8-bit I love the song!

  • WOW. How did you do this fantastic work ?

  • wow!!!! the first true 8 bit remix of a 64 song

  • I like the 0:53 thorugh 1:03

  • ehhh

  • looks like 3d nes paper mario! X3

  • Nice pic

  • I'M DROWNING IN NOSTALGIA

  • how did you make it look like that?

  • Screw the GXSCC comments....HOW did you get this looking like it's 8 bit graphics!?

  • @THEFINALHAZARD there are programs to make it like toadstool64

  • Wow. 8 people got shocked by an eel in Jolly Rodger Bay.

  • Sort of reminds me of StarTropics in an ethereal sort of way.

  • Very nice

  • needs more cowbell!

  • Needs more echo!

  • I love this 8bit version, it has it's own charm, and it's just as beautiful in it's own way...I think I'm going to be very addicted to this tonight...lol

  • Sounds obnoxious lol

  • fucking GXSCC!!

  • @iMovieKid12 or i could just play it on my 64... i've still got the console and the game.

  • u copyed this off 8 bit madness's 8 bit dire docks. >:(

  • 8D, thats fantastic... ohh, the memories

  • lol theres a =D in the link BTW great music.

  • The picture is wierd. if you look at the lives (mario jumping) he has red overals with a yellow shirt, here, it is the oposite.

  • (8) =D I like . Thank you

  • @YACINE42 (8)=D lol looks like a dick with balls between parenthesis!

  • Impressive, but without the undertones that can't be expresses with 8-bit, it's not as good.

  • No comment? Then what do you call that?

  • The worst part of this video was when it ended D:

  • you did a great job :)

  • This isn't in the actual NES sound format, but it's decent, at least.

  • I LOVE THIS VERSION! Oh and btw, the slacks are supposed to be red and the shirt is supposed to be green. Just like the tiny mario as the Life Symbol on the upper left corner.

  • This is one of the best 8-bit transfers I've heard.

  • I liked it but it should be called 4-bit, or 2-bit. The 8-Bit systems had 2 sound chanels, not one...

  • @funnyboystudios actually five channels:

2 pulse wave chans ranging from 12.5-75%

    One volume-fixed triangle chan

    One sixteen-volume white noise chan

And one 6b DPCM chan (rarely used)

  • N64 + NES = NES64

  • too much for me... my ears are bleeding

  • only one word:EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sick

  • this is perfect 10/10

  • WRONG VIDEO

  • love this music

  • I agree with mastermario09 but its still pretty cool

  • lol old-fasioned mickey mouse eyes

  • Those aren't Mickey Mouse eyes. Mickey's eyes used to look like Pac-Man.

  • hmmm.....the real sm64 is better...but id still like to try this version.(if there actually was one)

  • 'sup using GXSCC.

  • this music reminds me of zelda games

  • @goncalo24

i know this is 10 months late but ive typed this much already i must continue.

Mario and Zelda have same composers.

  • @goncalo24 Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the music from the Zelda and Mario series is composed by the same person.

  • @goncalo24 Agreed. I got a kinda Twilight Princess vibe from this.

  • gxscc=/=8 it

  • Epic Win.

    Nuff said

  • oooh how i hate this level in this game

  • Isn't this outside the castle, but with modified graphics?

  • yes but the both levels where this song is form. i never liked them i think one is joly roger bay and dire dire docks

  • Why yes, yes it is.

  • yes it is

  • Song's like an Zelda song..

    still get's 5/5 =]

  • Same composer, I think.

  • @aeon08lol No not 5/5 I say 10/10.

  • Your absolutely right.

    I don't know what I was thinking.

    10/10 !!

  • @AllahsArmy1

    Same thing.........

  • 9000 out of 10

  • One of the bests Dire Dire Docks 8bit EVAR! Just awesome! 5/5 Favorited! Not and A+, this need to be SSSS+ ^^

    Good job, congrats!

  • Damn, everyone in the videogame world nows ya can't beat the SSSS+!

  • PARFAIT!!!

    PERFECT

    PERFECTO!

  • AWESOME!! 5/5

    A+

  • Thanks =)

    @+ pour d'autres vidéos

  • cette musique me déchire

    (allemand) :D

  • @Kenton1008 this was always my favorite sm 64 song, and it rocks with this

  • Either my computers broken or i just got to see mario stand there for five minutes.

  • it's just a still of someone messing with a photo from mario 64. It looks very retro though.

  • It's probably been done with project64. THere's a plugin that lets you change the textures

  • Comment removed

  • You got to see him stand there. LOL

  • Turn your audio on, the theme was remixed, not the level.

  • This is true 8-bit. It's beautiful :'( But really, it's great. Good job.

  • Comment removed

  • that's true =)

  • lol 69 comments. anyways. theres super wicked glitch you can do in wet/dry world. it involves the huge bob-omb guy on the way top and involves somehow going down the grate/tunnel thing. you can like morph into weird stuff and coins. its kinda funny. if you really wanna know how i could find out for you but if not then whatever. this song sounds cool in 8-bit but bob-omb battlefield does NOT! even though bob-omb battlefield has the best song for any mario game ever

  • wow i subbed sub to me plz

  • wow skilled remix i

  • wow

  • I think you used GXSCC

  • Yes in deed =)

  • How do you convert MP3 songs into 8-Bit with GXSCC? If you can't, then that's screwed up.

  • Hmmm, you just can't... You only need a MIDI file which contains sheet

  • Well thanks for the quick answer! Damn you were fast...Man I wish Sonic Vegemite didn't die on me....do you know any good MIDI websites?

  • @xela12345 MIDI files are fundamentally different than MP3s. Technically, MIDIs aren't even digitized sound.

  • @TKnightcrawler I actually found a website named vgmusic, I can get all the MIDIs I want from there.

  • @xela12345 Hahahahahaha.

  • @Orochimanda26500 GXSCC is not real 8-bit...it's absolute crap. You just murdered the greatest song in this game.

  • LOL

  • excellent job, bro. kudos.

  • sounds like a guitar solo its tight

  • Omg I always HATED this map... cause it was sooo big there were TOO many places to go and fall off of! I always got a sick stomach playing this one cause I could NEVER get where I wanted to go and then I would quit and come back a day or so later and repeat :P

  • this was one of the smallest/easiest worlds :o

other than, of course, the swimming parts.

the one you're probably thinking of is the irritating one with bowser's submarine in it.

    now THAT one was a pain in the ass >:{

  • Ooh wait it wasn't THIS map!! shoot what was it... Ummm ... I know the painting you jumped into was like a grasshopper or a green spider?

  • the spider floating with baloon-like feets on water :D

  • You're thinking of "Wet Dry World". :)

  • gah! YES!! Still hated that map... Still Super Mario 64 is so far in my top 5 video games I've played... Zelda Ocarina of Time of course is #1

  • uhm...wet/dry world i believe. and it was a water walker spidery thingy....you know what i mean,right?

  • yes it was wet dry world with the scuttle bug (green spider thing) in the painting

wet dry world is my favorite map...but i never got any stars without cheats

  • how come? they always seemed pretty easy to me, other than the moving platforms by the cannon, but i just wall jumped up the cannon chute and jumped down :D

  • *shrugs*

  • keep it in mind... if you stay between the wall and the cannon, you can wall jump to the top. from there, you can get damn near anywhere in the level.

    ^_^

  • I just teleported to the cannon. :D

  • when i found that out i was pissed. id been doing it the hard way for a long time >:{

  • 5/5!

  • no borres este video esta chido

  • Mario is so adorable in that picture. Especially his eyes! They're like Paper Mario, only on Super Mario... 64... Mario...

  • How'd you make the game look like that?

  • rice's video plug-in, and one cheat code

  • What cheat code and was it done on the Nintendo 64 or another system? If so, which one? And what's Rice's video Plig-in?

  • i dont have the code anymore but this only works on emulators nemu8 is better to use with rice's plug-in do some searches for Roms, emulators, and rice's video plug-in you'll caught on quickly

  • !!!AMAZING!!!

  • how do you get that hack???

  • what is bit?

  • Like Bacon Bits

  • The way music sounds in Games lke 8 bit is NES and SNES is 16 bit

  • awsome...this is really 8-bit

some "8-bit" songs arent 8 bit...they only add a 8 bitish sound to it...

  • Best calm Music into the catchy awesome nice to hear 8-bit form of the music! Best 8-bit music remix I heard ever!

  • PalkiaTheHamster

  • pretty good, u should also try a 16 bit version, there are more possibilities with snes quality music. i still like it alot though

  • Or better yet a 64 bit version, that would give a lot more possibilities.

  • -.-

    thats a joke right?

    it didnt make me laugh

if not, then ur an idiot

  • If you can't be sure what is a joke and what isn't then you shouldn't be calling anyone an idiot.

  • why do people fight over the most trivial things!!!???

  • it´s 8 bits, no 64

  • what game is that?

  • super mario 64 with a texture(color) edit

  • Super Mario 64! *Gasp*

  • this can only be described with one word: awsome

  • Awesome picture and song! :D

  • This tune works really well in 8-bit.

  • wao! is amazing

  • OMG, that's classic! And this tune sounds really nice in 8-bit form.

  • oaoaoao:)

  • Yes GXSCC is a nice software, next time I will remove the drums :P especially for you ;]

  • LOL i made the same remix using the midi and GXSCC. I h8 how they w8 till like the 3rd time trough to add the drums xD

  • I like the picture looks like Mario shifted into 3D SMB straight from 2D SMB,great music!

  • neither do i

  • I do... =]

  • gxscc=/=8 bit

  • How did you do the visual? Great song though!

  • texture hack my friend

  • Any dls for a texture hack?

  • really cool

  • Extra points for the visual ;)

  • this is the best music
