I don't really like wine, but I always liked listening to Dave Del Dotto. His line is positive-minded. Yeah, the exact details of the real estate market were that what goes up can always come down after a "bubble" period; he probably learned that lesson like the rest of us. I am grateful for youtube, otherwise I thought I'd never be able to listen to him, again. His example: a person, like a company, can learn from, and recover after, the trauma of bankruptcy!

Despite the ancient past several like to keep bringing up, Dave is a nice guy; the wines are some of the best I've had. His winemaker is equally charming and well-knowledged. Tour of the caves, generous samples of his amazing wines and meeting his happy staff is well worth the price/time. We've made this a once a month adventure. So those that wish to bad mouth someone for what occurred a LONG time ago, fine, stay home - more wine for me. Besides, you'll only sour the grapes!
I have to say Dave's real estate course was great! There was allot of useful info, "Creative Financing, 101 Purchase Offers Sellers Can't Resist" was excellent. I was able to purchase my first home in 1992, a log home on 20 acres in Montana, with no credit and no job, I was going to school at that time at, MSU. Since that time I have purchased many real estate courses included Carlton Sheets. I think all the Guru's probably got there info from "Dave". Thanks, Dave!
Sure, Dave Del Dotto's real estate courses were great...so great in fact that he ended up getting sued by dozens of state attorney generals across the country for fraud and he ended up filing for bankruptcy..

I didn't know about the dark corners of REAL ESTATE history. If Dave del Dotto really did bad things then I apologize. One may dislike the man, but as videos go this was still amusing (sorry). I was only twelve in 1989 so FORGIVE ME PLEASE for not knowing he was a *nasty-nasty-bad-bad man* Toasts to You All!

Repentance, O papabear, from the heart cancels all sins...then even sainthood is a realistic prospect. Dave del Dotto (be that his name?) is the saint of GrapeRadio wine videos! Hail thrice his enthusiazing atmospherics!
This was the same sheister that hocked Real Estate with no money down back in the 1980's and ended up getting sued by several States and eventually went into bankruptcy....

I thank you for this video! Highly amusing and (lightly) educational. Forget all the tweaks of the latest techno wine wizards (sell-outs?): go for the real methods: THE BARREL, and HUMAN (not computer) DISCRETION. I watched this three times! Thanks for the wonderful atmosphere and warm tour!
Dave lives in that cave because so many former real estate students are after his hide.

wonder why he doesn't have john davidson singing in this video like he had him singing on those terrible real estate 'infomercials.'

Your resentment is pointless. He is doing well. Whatever grievance you have for him, try to release yourself from it. Only you are hurting.

who said anything about resentment? and i'm 'hurting' because the guy produced horrible real estate informercials? uh....no.

Yes, it was him; eventually, he got back on his feet and started a new life making wines.

Good for him, hopefully he doesn't sucker people into his vineyards like he did with his real estate....

@papabear8502 If he was in bankruptcy,
how does he own a vineyard?
