  • Oggi giorno non esistono più questi tipi di chitarristi. Grande personalità e vera chitarra jazz. Punto e basta !!!!!

  • I have a collection of all this masters of the jazz guitar(600 CD's). Brother you sound like them.

  • Thank you! I've also collected many albums and CD's of all these giants.

  • Steve,

I can't believe I missed this. Very classic jazz tone. Reminds me of Johnny Smith.

    Great delivery... 5*****

  • Thanks Allen! Better late than never. I was hoping it would have that mid 1950's Jazz tone, my favorite era for Jazz.

  • Five Stars!!! Such great playing. The warmth from the guitar is terrific! What guitar is this? Does not sound like your Bambino.

  • Thanks! I was using my D'Angelico NYL-7 strung with La Bella Electric Guitar Black Nylon Tape Flat Wounds which give it a unique sound. I didn't use the seventh string for this transcription.

  • Hi Steve you play this wunderful ,you see easy does it,a nice jazzy sound to ,greets from thr Netherlands Kees,

  • Hi Steve, fine harmonization and playing, like the tone very much, nice, round and warm, the last picture in this sequence : is that Charlie Christian or Grant Green? greetings Vic.

  • Hi Victor, thanks for checking out my videos. Your comments mean a lot. That's Grant Green on the last picture, his "Joshua Fit The Battle of Jericho " remains one of my top ten jazz guitar pieces. He was taken too soon.

  • great job

  • Steve,

I think you captured a bit of Burrell's tone. Very warm. This is a pretty song played well.

    Cheers,

  • Thanks Allen! I just turn the tone all the way down and recorded straight into the recorder.
