i like all japanese cars but dont go bashing evos, their pedigree is one of offroad rally racing. What would cause the skyline or nsx to break an axle, the Evo easily handles on a daily basis.

"an nsx or evo would kill a skyline" well lets see a stock evo IX MR makes 286 HP, weighs 3086lbs and is AWD, an NSX makes 270HP,rwd and weighs 2950 lbs, and finally the skyline GT-R makes 330HP, AWD and weighs 3395 lbs. maintaining ceteris paribus, the Evo would comfortably beat the NSX, and just barely beat the skyline. a UKDM evo FQ-400 can not only eat the skyline and NSX, but can also keep up with lambos.

what makes the evo special however, besides the fact that it costs CONSIDERABLY less than an NSX or skyline is that with a few suspension mods and shocks it can go rallying (off-road), while the NSX and Skyline are FAR too delicate for such a thing. The WRX handles worse than the evo, in fact they proved it on Top Gear. evos give you the best bang for your buck, unlike skylines and NSX's. so next time do some research and stop making ricer remarks, you make all the rest of us look bad.

Mitsubishi is a Japanese car company, and their reliability is fine. If you take car of the car and maintain it properly, it will last you a long time. If you dont take care of your car, it will break down, even if it is a skyline or an nsx
