  • i just picked up her at a comic shop, the figure is in perfect condition!

  • Airrazor is the coolest.

  • Airazor is awesome!

  • That's not true; Terrosuar took a cheap shot at Airazor when she was trying to help Optimus. But even when she got shot, she was still able to catch him. In that same episode, she broke the sound barrier... if anyone was master of the air or sky, it was Airazor. She is one tough sexy CGI female Transformer

  • Dat voice.

  • 1:44

    Airazor shoot Terrosuar to pieces.

  • I always loved this part!

  • @Blazureokami The power of two Megatrons. Same reason his body mutated, same reason Optimus Primal's body mutated and voice changed. However it works, they made it clear during the show that possessing two sparks can result in unusual effects. Whether it was responsible or not for Megatron's survival, perhaps we can't be sure about, but it means there's an extra variable in the mix, some different circumstances, such that Megatron can't be used as a yardstick for Terrorsaur and Scorponok.

  • In any event, there's no evidence they were rescued or salvaged, or even thought about. At best, they're in statis, buried in the bowels of the Earth. So if they're not dead-dead, they're for-all-intents-and-purposes dead. Until Terrorsaur is resurrected.

The writers may have had in mind a way to "undo" it or whatever. But if they did, they never used it, leaving Terrorsaur and Scorponok where we last saw them - sinking into the lava (which was also used for disposal and threatening Maximals).

  • @Blazureokami When Megatron was dunked into the lava, he was assumed to be dead by Tarantulas, and was stunned when Megatron came back reformatted, saying "you live?!". If Scorponok and Terrorsaur were not dead, there's no reason he would assume that the lava would be lethal. Them being dead by the lava doesn't stop the creators having a "trapdoor" to bring them back, per Dinobot and Optimus Primal's deaths. Being brought back doesn't mean they weren't dead; in fact it's kind of a prerequisite.

  • But they would have to actually be brought back. But they never were. As Megatron was dunked in the lava, he yelled "Nooo...". That doesn't sound like someone unafraid of such a bath. Either it was the spark (which is no less valid than G1 Prime's spark upgrading Optimus Primal) or he is inherently powerful enough to survive. Either way, it doesn't mean Terrorsaur or Scorponok were also powerful enough. It seems less valid for Megatron to fight with two men down if he could just pull them out.

  • @Blazureokami Since he and Scorponok were never seen again, yet had no means of leaving the planet, it's a pretty safe bet. The Universe story resurrects several characters, including Optimus Primal, who died at the end of BM; Rhinox, dead by the second season of BM; and Depthcharge, whose bits floated to the surface after he confronted Rampage. So Terrorsaur's appearance in Universe doesn't mean he _didn't_ die. Megatron was supercharged by the spark of G1 Megatron at the time of his lava bath.

  • Seems Terrorsaur went to pieces at the hands of Airazor. ^^

  • Best moment in Beast Wars.

  • Ouch.

  • when terrorsaur says "what? no!" he sounds like a cartoon character, but ive forgoton who, think its a disney character

  • surprisingly, this is not how terrorsaur died.

  • Damn...Terrosaur got the Waspinator treatment!

  • Terrasaur got owned by Airazor

  • Terrorsaur gets his ass kicked and by a female falcon

  • HEAD INCOMEING!

  • I always liked Airazor.

  • arcee vs starscream

  • Airazor maximize!

  • Yeah true, and a cybertronian can be completely torn apart but as long as thier spark still remains alright they can salvage and put the original bot back together again.

  • is terrosaur dead or was that a clone or something?

  • Terrorsaur doesn't die until something like 12 episodes later. This episode is only about halfway through season 1.

  • this one is cool

  • 1:51 OWNED!!

  • She and Tigertron are dead yes???

  • Yes. Their sparks merged to become Tigerhawk, who was then killed in the lead-up to the series climax.

  • yes but they come back later in the idw comics

  • Well... Terrorsaur knows what it feels like when Waspinator gets blown to pieces

  • Terrorsaur is a starscream

  • and you know the funny part is, the same vocie actor

  • But only for Starscream's appearance in the episode "Possession".

  • hey isnt the velociraptor that joins the autobots jet storm? because in the show and the movies hes the only *so far as i know* decepticon that joins the auto bots right?

  • Huh?

Dinobot, who transforms into a velociraptor, is a Predacon who joins the Maximals. Blackarachnia also later joins the Maximals.

    There's no Beast Wars movie.

  • im talking about the new xformers movie that came out, nvm im thnking of something else i guess

  • actually there was in japan for beast wars II

  • Unrelated and not the same thing.

  • Airazor and Tigatron were both ignored on the show, I wish we could have seen more of those two "together".

  • Airazor was always one of the coolest maximals; it's too bad that she didn't have any appearances past season 2. Not much characterization either; all I remember is that she had a thing for Tigertron, she was deus ex machina whenever she was needed, and for some strange reason, she was changed to a male Transformer in Japan. Of course, Takara rapes most Transformers franchises as it is, so that's the least they've done.

  • I hope Airazor makes an appearance in Animated. She could have a big sister relationship with Bumblebee.

  • sadly that didn't come to pass since animated came to a conclusion and the only beast wars characters that appeared were blackarachnia and waspinator

  • There's always the next Animated cartoon.

  • There WAS, however, a cameo reference to the original four Maximals - a damaged Blackarachnia found herself face to face with a Cheetah, a Gorilla, a Rhino, and a really huge rat. I forget which episode, as I never watched the series. But it's fairly obvious that they're meant to at least reference the maximals. Blackarachnia says something along the lines of "Oh you've got to be kidding me."

  • "Predacons Rising"

  • @Blazieth that was in transformers animated

  • Airazor is SEXY!!!!

  • Very True! Unfortunately the Japanese didn't think so, so they made her into a man. Seriously WTF!?!

  • I dunno, maybe they were into that.

  • whats all this shit about Terrosaur being gay...he was a treacherous lunatic that was all he was intended to be.

  • Lol, Airazor was my favorite transformer when I was a kid... what am I saying, she is now too. XD

  • My first beastwars toy is airrazor! That was 12 years ago......

  • LOL Terrorsaur is gay!

  • He's gay?

  • Isn't it obvious? XD

  • Holy crap! At 1: 28-1: 36 they look like they're banging each other! I know, I know! They are NOT a pair and the worst of enemies as far as Maximal and Predacon counterparts are concerned. But look closely at that time period of this vid and you'll see what I mean.

  • Pffft, silly child, Terrorsaur is not strait. XD

  • So he closed his eyes and thought of Waspinator. XD

  • i think the upgrade is prolly what did it i'd say that terrorsaurs and waspinators sparks are prolly in there heads cause that seems the only part of them that seems to survive there incounters with the maximals

  • lol one of my favorite scenes. she owned him good.

  • So in the G1 movie, Optimus and others die after being extremely shot by Megatron. Terrorsaur is blown into tiny pieces and survives. Go figure.

  • techniclly they went in to stasis lock it wasn't until after the series did they learn they can be brought back on line

  • Damage beyond stasis lock can kill.

Prime and the others dying was them going dead, very dead, go directly to dead, do not pass stasis lock, do not collect $200.

If Perceptor can invent CorroStop and a shrink-ray, surely he'd be aware of stasis lock. Otherwise what you're saying is they "buried" Autobots who were only in "comas", which is just creepy.

Terrorsaur blown into bits was simply slapstick comedy. No, it doesn't make sense.

(Maybe the Great Upgrade made their bodies more resilient?)

  • well i said stasis lock rather then death cause optimus prime gets resurrected 2 times but it says if the spark is extinguished they die cause in beast wars the matrix goes around his spark so it's safe to assume optimus was probably in statis lock and prolly was only able to be brought back to life cause rodimus had the matrix, but probably the others were killed cause they took it to the chest and that seems to be were most autobots and decepticons keep there sparks

  • crazydancecow:

primal did die. he was also resurrected. so just because a spark joins the matrix dosn't mean it can't be recalled. starscream also died but his spark is immortal.

  • Nice Monopoly reference.

  • These guys have animals for alternate modes, though. Maybe that rejiggers their biology.

  • ha Terrorsuar is beat by a girl!

  • Interestingly, in Japan, Airazor is a boy - by which I mean, "younger" male. The figure was designed gender-neutral; Hasbro elected made it female, but when it came time to dub into Japanese, Takara made it male.

    (See also: Cybertron Override.)

  • Another reason Japan should not touch Transformers.

  • Agreed.
