  • Sounds Great! Great Tone! Nice Playing!

  • Thumb up if you just wasted a minute of your life

  • It plays morse code pretty well

  • what a beauty!!

  • its beautiful but how does it sound?

  • how much did it cost you?

  • A guitar that expensive in the wrong hands is still worthless. Either play it or don't buy it man. You have two videos of this guitar, which has gotta be worth almost three thousand dollars, and haven't played a single lick. I'll stick with my Epiphone, at least I know what to do with it.

  • @relentlessreign23 (Y) well said, i have an epiphone too :P and it makes more noise then $3000 of gibson it seems

  • i think.......... get a new camera =) making some pretty funky and annoying noises..

  • that´s a beutifull guitar.

in the next video play something with her

  • Looks like a dorm room at Uni; they havn't changed much since I was at Uni. in the early 70's ...

  • what styles do these pickups come in?(chrome, zebra etc)

  • beautiful..thats all.

  • can u play with heavy distortion with those pickups of yours?

  • so can you even play it?

  • it's so valuable the you shouldn't even use it :)

  • lucky bastard =)

  • one of my fav parts about gibson is the sick tuners knobs

  • im glad he didnt play, it might have sacred mr. bear from his deep slumber...

  • LOL

  • @EyekilL951 :L:L LOL

  • Plus, Slash has said time and time again that the replica he has sounds, feels and plays better than any Gibson he has ever had even the ones the Custom Shop makes for him.

  • you know how much ppl get payd for that?

  • and where the hell did you get that information? if you are going to say Slash played a fake Les Paul then you better back it up with some evidence. I fucking hate people that make such bold statements without even saying anything to make their position believable.

  • Ok, here goes- You can pick up the book "Slash" in hard back for $27.95 in just about any reputable book store. Go to said book store, buy the book, and, read pages 170-172. In those pages you will learn( from the author, Slash himself!) that the guitar was picked up for him just before laying down the first tracks for the first sessions of what was to become Appetite. The guitar is a flame top '59 Les Paul replica that was hand made by the late Jim Foot who owned Music Works in Redondo Beach.

  • Page 172 from the book, Slash: "He made about fifty of those Les Paul replicas entirely by hand with no detail overlooked. It became my only guitar for a while, and has become my mainstay in the studio ever since. It has sounded different on every record I've done, but it is the same exact guitar." I don't know what "source" you have that tells you differently, but, my source is Slash in his own words in his autobiography. I think he would know better than anyone. Thanks for calling...CLICK.

  • You are correct, sir. And that book was fackin' awesome.

  • yes you are both right, anyone that knows anything about slash knows it was a copy he used, infact gibson are making a replica of the copy for the new slash sig, since when did a company like gibson need to make a copy of a copy of one of their guitars? :)

  • I would like to just throw this out there-people sell modded guitars all the time. Theres no rules against swapping out stock pickups for Duncans and then selling the guitar. Plus, if you know anything about Slash, the iconic Les Paul that he used to record Appetite wasnt even a "real" Les Paul. It was a hand made replica that a local luthier (he's dead now) made.

  • There are also a lot of les pauls "crafted" (i guess) without pickup covers.

  • Duuude, the guy obviously changed the pickups...

Seymour duncan alnico pro2 are guitar pickups...

    duh

  • please remove this comment, make u look so ridiculuos!

  • And you do know that you can remove the cover, change the pickup and buy a les paul with no pickup cover

  • so uhm how about you play it too

  • It doesnt matter if the guitars fake as long as it plays well

  • the b of the gibson headstock is fake

  • i dont think so

  • it's a fake

  • how can you tell

  • why do you say it's made in china?

  • are you stupid?

  • Comment removed

  • That's a fake gibson (made in china)

  • thats a chinese made i had that one hahhaaa

  • hummm i think you love slash

  • for sure it looks great but how it sounds? PLAY SOMETHING!!!! ANYTHING!!! LOL.

  • Nice guitar. Does it stay in tune well?

  • No Shit! I have an el Degas (WTF right?) 15 years ago, and with the retrofitting I've done I still play it more than my Custom Shop Clapton, Gilmour Strats. A Les PAul Body with the right pickups...c'mon, these one peice guitars truly stad the test of time. These guitars reach volumes and tones the likes of Fender couldn't touch. No0t to knock Fender ( Ilove em too) but Les Pauls, and the like, really kick ass.

  • what is a guitar which makes no sound??? PLAY IT xD

  • exactly what I was thinking. Pointless video.

  • I love a shiny les paul

  • i hear the cops ..... RUUUUN !!!

  • it is a really sexy guitar!!! my dream guitar,ahh...

but im totally not worthy of owning one.maybe in like 20 years.lol

  • i hear some1 printing a reciet in background

  • i know what it looks like! play the damn thing..

  • i don't know how to play it good...

  • well then why did you buy it looks? im not putting you down its just why buy a 2500 or more guitar if you cant play it good?

  • I totally agree... I guess a Epiphone would have done the job as well... But to be fair, I guess I wouldn't deserve a Gibson as well, but I still would like to own one^^

  • Epiphone Les Pauls, for life... They're so great. And upgradeable!

  • not as great as Gibsons though!!!

  • (a reply to the guy who said Epiphone for the win)

  • i think epiphone is underated. It's a great guitar company. I have an epi les paul ultra and i feel as if it matches a gibson easily. Plenty of reviews on the Internet say the same thing. If u r talking about gibson from the 60s or 70s, then it's a different story. Back then gibson was interested quality. Now it's more of a mass production and the guitars aren't as great as they used to be.

  • who wouldnt?

  • you dont know how to play it WELL...

  • @Blackstarrevenge give it to me then? hahaha

  • @Blackstarrevenge give it to me then or to other guys!:P however you have one of the greatest opportunities to have a fantastic sound when you learn better to play..;)

  • @Blackstarrevenge then why the fuck buy a gibson and spend and extra 500 for new pickups?

  • eheh gay

  • ...

  • i'm principiant

  • Thats the same gear that Slash uses right?

  • yes it is

  • exactly

  • no one wants to look at ur guitar we all know what a gibson les paul looks like

  • nice guitar fella, ive got a 1997 les paul standard i would love to get a new one without the pick gard in ice tea and fit some sd alnico 2 pro's to it but money is tight at the mo so il just dream on coz i aint gonna work any harder to get it (",)

  • Super nice paul dude love the color . to see a very rare les paul studio through a dsl 100 hlf stk look up "solo Output 1&2"

  • Some riffs please!:)

  • yes it's nice, but i would like to hear if you could play

  • Looks fine, but I was hoping to hear it

  • inspierd by slash??

  • nice!....but can we hear it please?

  • Reminds me of Slah's guitar...he always has the seymour duncan pick ups lol

  • Nice Guitar... but what's up with the teddy bear on the bed?

  • Yes, it's pretty but I want to hear it not look at it.

  • wow really nice looking pickups. since i dont care what the pickups in my 2000 guitar sound like, this was very helpful. i cant state this strongly enough. even though your sd pickuops look like any other black open coil pickups, because i now know what they look like in YOUR HCSB les paul i will run out and buy some. thank you!

  • the Morse code in the background spells "Satan is coming to town"

  • hahahahhahhaha

  • Hi may i know whats pickups for?If i dont have middle and neck pickups can i still play the guitar?Or something will happend?

  • beautiful

  • beautiful guitar

  • Yeah....it's a les paul..and..do you play? People become obsessed with instruments an gear, and nice gear is great, but, 80% of tone is in the paws hangin' off the end of your arms!!!! We play some pretty big venues and i now use just a Furman power conditioner, Fender 60 watt tube amp, tuner, wah, distortion, tube screamer and a homebuilt frankenstein Strat. bridge Seymour JB 4 neck Alnico2 Pro.

  • yeah dude squiers rock gibson so much for sure

  • i own a Squier M-77 that looks just as good. The big difference between Squier and Gibson must be somewhere else.

  • (mynameisnick)

when i read this i literally laughed out loud.

the difference is that the shape is alittle different and of course the electronics and sound is going to be comepletely apart...

and most of all... IT'S A SQUIER.

    no comparison to a gibson.

  • what? its a gibson

  • not the guitar in the video.

nick, i guess says his squier is the same as the one in the video.

  • if you are trying to impress us play it!!!!!

  • PLUG IT IN BABY!!

  • hate tht finish on any guitar

  • i love the heritage cherry burst but really only on les pauls

  • You do have to admit that those nasty green tinted turners are bad.

  • i agree, i'd get the gibson moderns. they look way nicer because of the chrome and in my opinion they keep a really good tune

  • Plug it in an lets hear that bad boy.

  • who hasnt seen a les paul before ?? cmon man plug it in for fuk sakes lets hear it

  • Full body shot...Almost porno...!

    That guitar so sexy!

  • dude nice guitar mines the same but an epi and natural colour

  • i might be getting an epiphone les paul standard in the same colour as that and i think it would look nicer with uncovered humbuckers.

  • My dream! my madness! my pasion! It's all!!"!

  • Nice guitar! I have the same finish on my Epiphone. It's so beautiful.

  • Man, Les Pauls look so much cooler with open coil pickups, nice guitar btw

  • in a shop in italy!

  • hey man where did you get those pickups??
